Unlike in eve, there are no NPC stations to sit them in. theyll exist somwhere in game at all times available to be taken.
 
Everyone makes this sound like it'll destroy the game if you can't steal DAC's from people. I'm not convinced stealing DAC's is useful for the game as a whole. Its simply an interesting mechanic for them, but its not really fair in either direction. DAC's themselves arent particularly fair and making them lootable is just another injustice.
 
Either way is percieved as something not fair. If people with money can buy DACs not fair. If people can't steal DACs somehow also not fair.
I respect NQ's decision to make them non lootable.
 
Why would anyone ever move a DAC, even if its a physical item just use a tag mark it as yours and you are the only one with the right to pick it up, leave it in the Novark field area, and leave. Realized there is technically one safe area.
 
I'm not about strong arming NQ to make decisions or using perceived leverage against them I hope they stick to making choices they believe are logical and not bending because the community clammors for something that is opinion.
 
Great games have been wrecked in both directions, communities asking for questionable mechanics, and devlopers turning their back to community opinion.

Here is a speel of my basic hopes and ambitions of cinderfall.

The Cinderfall Syndicate is to create a high security and safe space within the game. Since the world will lack any form of forced safety that Non Player Character organisations provide such as in EVE.
 
Starting from Alioth, well build Emberstone a completely safe place, where noobies can come and get a grip, they dont have to join Cinderfall. We will try to explain the pros and cons of various organisations to people, even orgs that do not support the Cinderfall mission or sign on.
 
So we will make efforts to classify cities, areas, planets, solar systems, stargates, and miscellaneous with a simplistic security rating system to let people know the general value of a safe or dangerous place. We are legitimate so while others might tell you a place is safe, it might not actually be, Cinderfall will not lie about its security ratings you can trust them.
 
The Syndicate is a loose collection of organizations which agree to the Cinderfall mission. However just being a member does not necessarily make this a traditional alliance. An application process will be developed for bringing new organisations in, and the Syndicate Senate may at times vote new members into the syndicate at large or even onto the Senate itself. This senate does not control any relative aspect of players gaming experience but guides Cinderfall and its objectives, such as where to place hubs, how much sales tax a hub will have, the location of cinderfall stargates, and other various topics.
The JSDF will be expanded or shrink to cover the high security locations that are established as mentioned before. Its members will consist of the cinderfall primary members of the Magistratum or the JSDF as well as Syndicate members who join as a secondary citizen. If you haven't time for secondary responsibility within Cinderfall itself but are a member of the syndicate, your org may be cleared to have its own operational branch, or expeditionary force, under the authority of the JSDF.
 
The Magistratum will work as an effort to seek balance and harmony in the syndicate, and to do its best to help those even outside of the realm of civilization. A Magistratum Archive will be constructed in Emberstone where peoples may share or find information on various scripts that have been made, we want to improve the quality of the game for as many as possible. The primary role of the members of the Magistratum and thus Cinderfall is to provide conflict mediation based on philosophical guidelines the Magistratum coems up with in order to best serve everyone in keeping the game fun while actually solving problems as best we can.

It was somewhat of a cyberwar - the U.N. had become corrupt by the beginning of the Arkship age and constructed the Arks to save themselves (not all of humanity, as it had advertised) and the elite who could pay their way. Nexus realized this and launched their own project, Cinderfall, that aimed to infiltrate the U.N.'s supposedly "fair" selection process. There definitely may have been some strategic tactical war as well, as Nexus Corporation had powerful paramilitary resources of its own.
 
Therefore, there was conflict in both the physical and cyber realms.

Vulture Corporation tries to spearhead and / or support a police force for long-term stability of moderate to major urban centres. With low size focus may be on one or two.
 
Focus can include training, tactics and equipment such as vehicles (possibly incl. design) and less-than-lethal and lethal weaponry. Units are deployed after sufficient law and tactical training to work under the regulations and laws set by VPOL and / or any city, faction or alliance officials that have sufficient influence in the according city.
 
There is currently and for the foreseeable future no intention to portray an intergalactic police force - for any security contracting needs we refer to corporations or contractors. As independent player nations and states will likely try to run their own security or police forces, we look for those interested in bolstering their (future) city or larger settlements with a dedicated police force.
 
This means that this project is so far aiming at partners and joint city projects where several parties share tasks and responsibilities. Of course, given demand it is also possible that existing entities bolster their own forces.
 
In a nutshell, picture a dedicated police unit "for hire" without any cliché downsides such as tiered insurance levels per city dweller.
 
 

CORE VALUES

VPOL will so far be inspired and guided by a set of tweaked principles of a constitutional state or a state under the rule of law. German users could surely relate to the word "Rechtsstaat" - details would depend on the other party (the city civil authorities, nation or alliance) but a general approach of de-escalation is favored and encouraged. These will find some specification in basic regulations and guidelines.
 
In a nutshell we don't look for an authoritarian mindset.

We are glad for anyone interested in this project - while this project is initiated and supported by Vulture Corporation, you don't have to become a member of said entity - you can so far become a VPOL member while being part of an existing organization or alliance as long as no conflict of interest with the respective city authorities that we back arises.
 
A clean slate is to be expected, however.

hello i am creeper, i am going to be giving some news each week. for example: newest videos, twiter posts, hot topics in the forums, growth and stats of the comunity, etc. i am kinda new and i dont know if this is the correct place to post this topic(or if there is a place) so if theres another place tell me in the comments
 
weekly growth of top 4 orgs(since 9/12/16)
 
this week stats in every org went up(obiously) this is a summary
Terran Union went from 85 to 113 in 6 days! passing frogswarm and being number two! total growth=28
frogswarm didnt grow much, since 12/9/16 they had 94 members total growth=0
BOO (Band of Outlaws) went from 105 to 116, they are still number one org growth=9
finally SLI (Silver Light Industries) went from 65 to 76 and is still growing growth=11

Arkship Pub : A place where people socialise by sharing threads in regards - but not limited - to their Organisation (see Community).

Please - before there's another round of forum bashing people for having opinions, concerns or otherwise - let @NQ-Nyaltzar sort it out.
 
Flaming every thread about the business model in know way helps the community grow, discourages dialogue, and suppresses the free and frank exchange of ideas.
 
The OP, and @EagleOne in another thread had either valid concerns (which Devs have addressed - they don't need our help) or suggestions (which were flamed down rather than being taken on-board and passed on to NQ with a thanks for the idea) - frankly, the Community response has been a little disappointing.
 
It's going to be a long and lonely 2 years if we're not welcoming and constructive. Yes - the threads frustrate you all, but you win more friends with honey than with vinegar.

Remember everyone out there. When the good guys that promise you everything turn bad, the syndicate will still be here keeping itself on track, protecting its members freedom, and fighting for whats important you. We'll do what dark things need to be done in order to make your' gameplay the best it can be, we arent pretending to be good guys nor are we bad guys there is just what is the right thing to do.
 
Tired of getting calls in the middle of the night to sign in and fight for some unimportant space rock? Come join the JSDF - Joint Syndicate Defence Force, and help us alleviate this problem. Perhaps you would rather focus on building, well thats fine well have many engineering projects and there are many member orgs who would love to have your help.
