It would be a good idea to introduce an Editor or a Tool App independent from the game to build and experiment with your creations that you are thinking. And also having a tool to share blueprints and models to your friends, or having a WorkShop.

It would be a good idea to introduce a 3D Galaxy Map, with information of the planets, asteroids, space stations, etc. There you will be able to plot routes and to have extra information about your ship, for example.
