  1. Hello, first it is good to see that you acknowledge mistakes/problems/issues and work on fixing them. Before, I found these parts of the game: mining - not enjoyable flying - fun crafting (with machines) - not quite fun, but pleasent enought distraction from mining. building (ships) - kind of hard to build good looking ship that works well, but that is the way it should be. Not something I could to for long. pvp - never got to it. programing - never got to it (wanted to get to later on) playing with people - most of the activities didnt seem like something made with being-done-as-a-group in mind. After the schematic thingy, suddenly large part of the game was paywalled off (with ingame money, but still something our small org. couldnt deal with) So we stopped playing. To me it seems like the schematicks should never have been needed for basic recipies. While yes, that system will need rework, I think removing schematics for basic (1st tier) items and parts and making the uncommon ones reasonably cheap, while buffing the more advaced ones would be a “quick” fix. Maybe formula of +10% for each (positive) stat of the item (like engine) with +30% for its specialization for each “rarity tier” could be something to go of.
  2. And if player logs of normaly (without combat) does the ship vanish? Even if it is multicrew? And will the buildings on planets (which you builded) vanish as well?
  3. Yeah , and about that making hole around you when you are away... I think it is easier to kill and loot you on spot.. And if there really is joker like that... I would expect option for suicide ==> respawn at nearest "ressurection node" It isn´t minecraft , your either make save place to log out, return to arc ship - OR DIE!

When you log out of game your character drops on floor, when you are in bed or cryochamber it of course stayes there , maybe adding slight buffes from bed/cryochamber sleeping or slight debufs after floor sleeping just to direct players to bed/cryo... (less technicly demanding) About stealing ships... it has to be considered what happends to ship when you leave.. What I would like is something like in Star Citizen ,where the ship remains on spot and lowers emissions so it is hard to detect... If you dont stumble over it - you wont find it Or if you want, i could activate autopilot...

Plz excuse my (bad) english There is might a possible middle way Depends on how will the tech(tree?) work and how advanced will we be at start The probably most difficult option would be to Make space flight and launches decreasingly difficult , starting almost at KSP level (orbiting would be needed to get somewhere , also space flights would take long time and launching and maintaining would be very expensive ) and as we find better technogies and fuels space flights would be getting less costly until it would be attainable for average individuals About the tech (tree) I imagine Starting with land based vehicles and water(or equivalent) ships soon to atmospheric crafts to ion and better (space) crafts then to increasingly advanced FTLs then Stargates and beyond...[/color] Progression system can be tech or resource based or combination of both(my favorite) For examle : 1)The arc ship database has been damaged by unpredicted pulsar radiation wave and needs time to recover advaced tech – Time based system for whole universe 2) The arc ship database has been damaged by unpredicted pulsar radiation wave and its contents are irreparably corrupted – have fun researching on your own! 3) You want to get FTL engine? Too bad , there isnt this exact type of resource on this planet.. maybe it is on diffrent planet in solar system – perhaps the furthes one to which it takes week to get to.... have fun! OR combinations! 1 to certain technology then 2 1 and 3 – Finally , the Arc ship recovered FTL drives technlogy – oh wait, I need that extremely rare ore I found only once (didn´t mine it though because I thought it useless), in the comet that was flying near Arc planet, which is now on the other side of solar system... Or 1 and 3 to certain technology then 2 and 3

I only few possible options - none is perfect If you know of other options pls comment them below 1) What happends to your character when you log off? 1.1 Character vanishes - Usual in games 1.2 Character goes to sleep/equivalent - you will need bed/cryocapsules on ships(At least on long flights) - you will also have to make shelter or go back on arc ship (At start) - if you just have to leave/blackout/computer problem your character dies 2) What happends to ship (if you pilot one) and you log off? 2.1 Ship vanishes 2.1.1 Highly abusible - see danger comming our way? lets log off! 2.1.2 What happend if there is someone else on the ship when you leave? He/she(/it ) just dies?? 2.2 Ship turns on autopilot(stops or continues depending on setting) / Waits for other crewman to fly it 2.2.1 If you arent in savezone you can bet someone will steal it! 2.2.2 What if you are in the middle of battle? Good bay ship! (possible - depending on how the radar will work 2.3 Ship turns off as many systems (preset) as it can so it will be pretty much undetectibal by radar 2.3.1 If you are flying through gravity field? Good bay ship! 2.3.2 If you are in the middle of battle? Good bay ship!
  7. Sorry if this was already mentioned , didn ´t see it Also plz excuse my (bad) english How about enviromental hazars? Can I just let ship fly through unexplored space and go AFK? Do I have to be always on edge? What can we expect? Asteriod storms? Radiation? Hull-eating gases? Hostile drones/stations left by extinct civilizations? And what on planets? Weather? Diseases? Radiation? Fauna?

From trailer it seems as pretty much better starmade - as easy as possible Just place ftat platform cocpit in front,reactor behind it , a bit armor aroud it , thruster in every direction - 2 forvard and upward and u have basic ship.Maybe you add a small space for cargo. For me it just seems a little too shoddy - I´m not saying(writing) that it should be hardcore and would have to sit hours planning it, but when u pile up few componets and hope it will fly - it should not ​ ​For example having to connect things that require energy with wires/cables/other physical means would (i hope) mean that though u still could build ship simly by placing componets on platform and connecting it through the armor ​It would also allow a critical hits (for example you get lucky and hit a cable that is powering a imporant omponet - like a weapon or thruster -- and though the (probably expensive and well armored or higher HP) component would not be destroyed it would be offline(not fuction) ). ​More thought out ships would have less weak points , but they would take more time(or/and experience) to invent. And how could you destroy a deathstar without weakpoint??
