  1. The fact that you can now safely and comfortably land on MP6, the only active market in the game, is basically end of days, as far as this game is concerned. šŸ¤£ I very, very much doubt this game has exceeded 1000 average players over any 24 hour period in total since the first month of release. No way the servers could handle four entire figures without falling over and choking.
  2. Not if you don't have rights to harvest on the other tile. Then half of your ore is inaccessible.
  3. "lots" apparently. Just ask @Yoarii
  4. Careful what you wish for... NQ's version of removing the mini game would be literally to just have the miners mine at minimum speed without the minigame calibration boosts. Basically as it is now if you press escape and ignore the game.
  5. You lost me at dumb. I guess you wrote other stuff after that. /shrug/
  6. Oof. that hurts... I'm currently just burning DACs until something happens or the game closes. Not interested in "investing" my limited time in this right now. Currently playing Satisfactory to ... ahem... satisfy... my desire to build factories... It's a lot of fun and was on sale for about $10... basically the cost of 20 days of Dual...
  7. Relative is true, after all, I never stated ā€œabsolutely loads of peopleā€.. šŸ˜‰
  8. Another Steam Event (base building) another nothingburger: Average players is now well below 100 for the last 30 days. And I wonder how many are alts...
  9. Glad it wasn't just me having a stroke. With marketing this good, steam player numbers are set to increase commensurately. šŸ™„
  10. A minimum of 1ā„ baseline per unit baked into any purchase order would make blanket scamming MUCH less profitable. putting an order for 10,000,000 of anything should cost the player at least 10,000,000 ā„, IMO. It would still be possible to scam, but it would be far less prevalent. But now I'm going against my own advice and posting suggestions. ...which is about a useful as a knitted condom in these forums.
  11. Making a new post to complain about people making new posts is so Ironic, spoons stick to it. Jeezus, there are, like, 10 posts a day or something. Hardly a chore to get through them. I think some people are just searching for something to complain about. /shrug/ /end thread/ /exit/ /quit()/ /^x s!/ /^c/ /^d/ /esc esc esc/
  12. Long post, executive summary (TLDR) at the bottom. Why don't they just do the same as they already do for dynamic constructs? I own a tile which I was given by an org member who was quitting. He signed the tile over to me and I got instant access to mining rights etc. What I didn't get was automatic access to his constructs.... I had to right click and acquire them. I think that took two weeks to count down. can't remember. Furthermore, there was a dynamic construct sitting on my tile which I still can't claim for another month or so, (it says 30 something days until abandoned) According to the quitting org member who gave me his tile, the dynamic construct belong(s/ed) to someone who quit a couple of months before he did. So once that timer counts down, I can claim his construct, too. So why not just use the current system? If you stop subscribing, someone can claim your old TU and you get sent a notification and wait for the handover timer to tick down (2 weeks?) After that, it becomes his or her tile anyway, so they can then request acquisition on all the dynamic structures (2 weeks, say) or static (pick something like, say, 2 months or thereabouts). In the meantime, they are in any case free to deploy mining units or harvest the territory since it is theirs. OTOH, if the tile stays unclaimed, then after 3 months, everything gets abandoned regardless. TLDR: Here is the executive summary of my post: Lots of people are quitting DU.
  13. I went to steamā€™s page which showed games like Factorio, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Cities skylines, early access to Satisfactoryā€¦ but actually couldnā€™t even find DU. are you sure itā€™s there?
  14. Two week, 28 days tops. I know for a fact people are sitting on tiles with alts burning one dac every four months.
  15. Well, when I log in, I canā€™t even scroll back ten seconds. Like I said, chat has no memory. To put it another way, only peopleā€™s clients keep a local record in RAM which is pretty much the definition of a *BAD IDEA(TM). Nothing is accessible by the player from the server.
  16. For everyone else, yes. But I want my tiles to stay for three months .
  17. It was a joke. But since there are only a dozen of us who actually post (first week noobs still thinking the game has a future and us shitposters) there's really no need to split the forum into single digit readership.
  18. GLWT: This game doesn't have one minute of chat history even for the general chat channel.
  19. Imagine joining for build fest then realising that to even build something basic you have to grind for a week.
  20. NQ: Server is falling over. Too many players... must fix.
  21. Damn. I visited it the other day, incredible work. Indeed, I reckon you might actually have more L cores than paid subscribers still fully active in the entire game.
  22. OP I wasn't trolling... I merely read the effusive title and replied directly to that. In that context, it was a fair reply, but judging by your comment, I presume what you wrote in your post was not actually directly connected to the title. NQ: One single type of emote is not enough... where is the LOL, dislike and WTF icons?
