Its purpose is to allow any and all who want to know more about who we are, what we do, and what our purpose is, to ask any questions that they may have. Any of the current Board of Directors will assist you with questions you may have. If you are a single member feel free to apply to any of our corporate partners. Corporate entities looking for joint membership, please ask your nearest recruiter for more information. Any and all parties are more than welcome to join. 2. Dunno if its the old Eve pilot in me, or whatever, but seeing this "Bank" screams "SCAM."
  3. Could you provide some visual reference as to how the systems are organized - It would go a long ways as to helping conceptualize the idea.
  4. Have any examples for comparison - to add to the list? For purely visual reference. . .
  5. I was also thinking about main techs - and under each main tech has various sub techs. . . and from those sub techs can potentially lead to secondary techs or other main techs which branch off.
  6. Actually removing the rankings by most members would solve a lot of the issues - I would gladly support this idea. It would place everyone on equal footing - and make recruiters work for their pay. . .
  7. Samples were requested - Linear sample - Circular/Web sample -
  8. Debate 9: Tech Tree Thoughts The long awaited return of the old debate topics is upon us, after a long hiatus of working on my doctorate I have decided to return to them as we traverse this wonderful road to alpha. Today I awoke with a simple thought, "How are the developers of Dual Universe ie Novaquark planning on structuring their tech tree system?" As far as I see it there are several ways that it can be approached, however, to keep things simple I will limit it just two ideas on the subject. Feel free to read through it, take to heart my opinions, or feel free to formulate your own or expand on pre existing ones, all feedback is welcome. Linear Tree: This is the classic form of tech tree you see standardized in most games, it starts with usually a single item / tech then spreads along in a sub linear fashion, one tech leading to others along a fixed path. To me this is usually generalized and can end up fairly repetitive. Circular / Adaptive Tree: This form of tech tree is generally more complicated but it allows for greater diversification. It allows you to have specific areas of science/technology researched - that lead to other sections of the circle that unlock as you go along. In my opinion this allows technology to be approached in a non linear fashion that is never dull, instead allowing asymmetric progression through the system - focusing in one area one day - in another the next. Of course all of this is nothing but hypothetical, so feel free to do your own research on the concepts, post your thoughts, feelings, ideas below; and remember - just have fun! We will be there before you know it.
  9. Another potential idea is to require each hub member to log on and verify their account - those who do not verify within X amount of time are auto dropped by the system. This allows organizations to remain - minus potential alternates created with one time use accounts - or severe inactives - and would allow more of a grasp of the active player base. Of course as usual, this is just a opinion. . .
  10. A simple reset of the entire community hub would solve a lot of this - those "active" would be able to rejoin - and more legit numbers would be represented. . . This is just a opinion however. . .
  11. Depends on the crime that they have committed against the state. . . If there pirates either option A: take them captive and place them in a box, or if option A is unable to be carried out, then option B: blow them out of the sky would go into action. Only true neutral parties / non agrro pods would be left by the wayside.
  12. I have to agree with Warden on this - The needs of your own, outweigh the needs of others who, more than likely, do nothing to assist your goals. To quote an old saying, You need to have your own house in order first.
  13. I will probably garner some flak for saying this. . . While yes there are many organizations out there, one must remember, they all cater to one style of play or another. Some are more kids based. . . hell some are kid ran, then there are organizations that are more serious. . . and then you have those who are specific to nationality or languages. You also have organizations that are not actually groups you can join but are essentially conglomerates of other organizations - usually to get into one of those you have to join one of the smaller organizations within the group. Essentially - if you have a way you like to play - or have a type of people you like to work with - there is probably a group for you. There is a number to choose from. What matters is that the choice is yours, and yours alone to make.
  14. Just to let everyone know, I am planning on releasing the first of the new threads Sunday afternoon or evening.
  15. Loved Eve Radio - so hopefully this concept will work out for Dual Universe as well. . .
  16. Its been a long while since I was working on the "Debate" threads. This is mainly due to the time constraints that I have been under due to my working to complete my degree. - yes, 4 years of college is a pain but in the end it is worth it. Now that things on my side are beginning to wrap up, I plan on bringing back the weekly installments of the "Debate" threads. These threads cover everything from theories about game mechanics - to suggestions as to implementation. As usual community participation will be more than welcome. Thanks once more, for your patience. And see you on the flip side. . . Also: You are more than welcome to check out the old debate threads. 17. It was also touched on in the interview with JC in the Dual Universe Explorers broadcast.
  18. Glad our discord was not posted. . . I also know some might not appreciate having their discord publicly flaunted about.
  19. Good game is all I can say, would have been fun to watch.
  20. It has also been stated that anything - beyond reason - ie grotesque or extremely obscene, will be reviewed in a case by case basis.
  21. Desert - always, reminds me of my job. . . That - and I just like the climate. Dust storms - when / if done right also make covert operations exciting.
