    Also, pls do not forget that one of the main selling-point of this game is "player-driven-socialization" (Not just player-driven-PVP) in a single-shard-server. I hope that the resources that we are gonna farm here are not only for PVP-use, but for socialization as well.
    We don't have PVE in this game, I can accept that! But if farming resources are all for PVP-use, no! It becomes a part of PVP then. Add Socialization-use to the farming. So farming is for Socialization and PVP. Farming is not PVE, because there is no PVE in this game when it is all player-driven (PVE is a mechanics that is game-driven, which is impossible for us to have. Role-playing is part of Socialization).    
    We cannot technically have PVE(due to the game-design), but we can have 2 aspects to this game; PVP and Socialization, both player-driven. And if we can make wealth in this game, don't tell me that the end-game is only PVP! Make Socialization an aspect of wealth-spending. That's why I ask for vanity-items like player-made-Socialization-Constructs. Otherwise, the end-game is all PVP(that means being elite-rich means you have a lot of assets for PVP-disposal. There should be a real-estate, bribery for social-privilege, social-ladder, social-status, to it, you know, a luxury for the rich. In that case, greed is not only limited to obsession of power, but can also be associated with obsession of social-status (2 parts of the game - PVP and Socialization).
    We work in real-life to survive(needs), we don't have survival-mechanics in this game, but also for (want, things that we do not necessarily need). With no survival-mechanics, "want" is the only driving-factor to wealth-acquisition that is not PVP. That's why we need some kind of a social-ladder associated to wealth-acquisition (like player-driven-Forbes-magazine to boost your ego). Some people will work in this game as a Board-Member like Chairman(owner/s of a company) and run their business as usual so they may one-day in this game end-up like the Chinese-Billionaires you see in Southeast Asia. They will have their own culture because of status-difference. 
    If you are not greedy, you can play the game however you want(leave the greed to the elites). But like I said, there are 2 sides to greed relating to PVP and Socialization. 
     
    Sadly, game needs to have a purpose for it to work. If you take out survival in real-life, what will be the driving-factor for you to acquire wealth?

    You sir, are a contributor to DU-society, asking nothing in return. You could have done Organization-Ads for source of in-game-quanta-revenue, like how Insurance are advertised in radios by voice, but you did not choose any of these.
    If only we have our concept of noble-peace-prize-award or national/foreign-recognition of honor, I will nominate you to it.

    The point of spinning is for turning, isn't it?(you will turn, but you will not do more than 360-degrees. it will be pointless to keep spinning endlessly.)
    A Gunship like Apache and even armed-scout-helicopters has do this maneuver. Point is to look for enemies and gun them down, while ofcourse, not losing your platform. You also have to turn to change direction of Heading. The tail-rotor of a real-life-helicopter is not only for countering the Torque-Effect, it is also needed to turn the helicopter, otherwise, it won't be able to change Heading.
    That is what you need; You don't need spinning like beyblade, you need Turning. Yes, you can turn fast, if you 100% the engine and you idle(0%) the other-opposite-engine. Remember; Fixed-Turn = (Aft-Port = Front-Port) + (Aft-Starboard = Front-Starboard) . It isn't gonna work properly if it isn't. I know how helicopter works.

    @Vellnn The thing is, it has to be capable of moving forward and yawing(spinning/turning). To do that, just put 2 engines on both ends. If you get the same output-Thrust from both the engines, your UAV will move forward, if there is a difference, you will turn it. To make a faster-rate-of-turn, then that difference have to be big(one is outputting a lot of thrust, while the other is so less to nothing = faster-rate-of-turn). You will program these engines to have their own throttle-lever-control(macro them to keys in your keyboard). You can do a starboard/port-turn by differential-thrust(you cannot do that with a third-engine on the middle, unless you shut that one down).
     
    A third-engine on the middle, it is not efficient to have it on your design. Go with just 2, that's enough for maneuverability. It's just a UAV, you need maneuverability, that's it. 
     
    Speaking of Engineering though, why not just choose an aft-side and a forward-side in that quadrilateral, and just put 2 engines on the Aft-side and another 2 engines on Forward-side? That will be enough for forward(straight)-thrust and differential-thrust(turning/spinning). why also fill the other 2 sides with engines to do the exact same-thing and have 2 vectors instead of one?  You will program all those engines!!! Those are 8 engines right there, plus the vertical-ones! When you program those for control, you have 2 vectors, meaning 2 sides can be an aft-side, which you also included the sides of the already-Aft-and-Front as another vector(you just need one aft and one opposite to it(a front) to remain fixed like a helicopter!). That is hard, an act of complicating simple-engineering-things, inefficient and unnecessary.
     
    My advice, just choose one side as an Aft("aft" means "back-side") and put 2 engines, put 2 engines on the forward(the opposite)-side as well to counter the Aft for centrifugal-force/fixed-Torque(fixed-position-turning), put the vector(vertical)-engines(my suggestion is atleast 2 engines for Rolling. With just 1, you cannot Roll.), put another 2 vector-engines opposite of your up-vector-engines(for fixed-position-rolling), then you can work on programming these which is the hard-part.

    anti-matter/matter-collision does not produce more energy than fusion/fission.
    How do you extract anti-matter? Through beta-decay. And you are not extracting an isotope here, but elementary particles (which is a harder process). Why go to all of that for less energy output in the end? The only energy this collision produce is from photons(gamma ray) and they are not even an MeV of energy.

    Also, Helium-3 is harder to source that Tritium. Helium-3 is sourced from beta-decay of Tritium. Tritium can either be produced from decay of 6Li(or Lithium-7) or D-D-fusion(2 Deuteriums).
    Fusing 2 Deuteriums(which is abundant) will give you 17.6MeV of energy-output.
    You can recycle that Tritium(if you can harvest them) and fusion them further to Deuterium, which will give you another 17.5MeV of energy-output. 
    Forget the Lithium and just source everything from Deuterium(which is more abundant) through fusion-process. (right now, they source it from Lithium because fusion is more expensive/harder to achieve).
     
    For Helium-3, you can either extract it from nature, or produce them yourself from Tritium-decay. And btw, Helium-3 is non-radioactive, which means you can only use them for fusion(not fission). D - 3He (deuterium to helium-3)-fusion is what goes with it.

    The future of energy will probably lie in Fusion. If we can build a fusion-generator in the future, then this can be a reality.

     
    The fact about Deuterium(2H, 1 proton 1 neutron) and Tritium(3H, meaning it has 2 neutrons and 1 proton) are they are abundant in nature as Hydrogen is. They are isotopes of Hydrogen (one is stable and one is radioactive). The nuclear-fusion of these Nucleus(Deuterium and Tritium) from high-temperature and pressure, will result to energy-emission from the proton-release after the reaction, as well as 4He or Helium-4. A single nuclear-fusion can output 17.5MeV of energy, the input-energy required for fusion, I do not know, but it is less. 
     
    The advantage of fusion-energy over fission, is the absence/reduction of radioactivity and the more abundant source of fuel(Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe composing of 75%). 
     
    If it's the future we are talking about, vehicles and bases will be fusion-powered (not nuclear-fission-powered like nuclear-submarines and aircraft-carriers). Fossil-fuels take millions of years to develop, in the future, their source will inevitably deflate. Thus, we need more renewable source of energy. We can go nuclear(fission) or we can go fusion. The advantage of nuclear-fission is they remain radioactive and will decay in process for a long-time(no need to refuel till the end of life-span). Disadvantage is gamma-ray and free-electron emission.   
     
    Anti-matters like Positron(an anti-electron) are elementary-particles. When a positron collides with an electron, they just release energy of photons(gamma-ray) and the particles disappear. The energy-emission is small in output (500KeV) per collision that it's not worth it to harvest these elementary-particles. Did you know that anti-matters are produced from radioactive-decay? Why harvest them when the process to produce them, is energy-emission itself? You can get more energy-output from nuclear fission and fusion than antimatter/matter-collision that it's not even worth it to harvest them for energy-use (which is a hard process anyway).
     
    Thus, the most-efficient sources of energy in the future will be solar, nuclear-fission, and nuclear-fusion.

    On his diagram, there is only 1 rocket on 1 outboard per side. That means 1 outboard will be propelled, and the other outboard will stay in one-place. Due to it being a quad, it will rotate. If the UAV rotates, how can it ever accelerate? You cannot have velocity without a vector. Something have to remain fixed in order for it to move and have velocity. No matter how much thrust-output you put in it, it will only be caught in the Centrifugal-Force. It's not the thrust-output or "boosts", it's the way you configured the diagram.
    Whilst, you fill both outboards as in the video, then it might work in the physics of the game. His diagram is different than your video.

    Then you need 2 of these Engines facing the same-direction on each sides of your quadrilateral (both near the perpendicular-line, the outboards of each sides), as shown in the video. If you put just 1 engine in only 1 outboard per side, ofcourse, you will yaw it, causing it to spin.
    If you can program these engines, then you can do a rate-of-turn.
    Engines and Liquid-Fuel-Rockets are not the same. While you can control the injector-valves of a liquid-fuel-rocket, they are not the same. Typically, we use rockets for disposable-guidance, like for missiles and rocket-battery. For non-disposable like this UAV that you proposed, an engine is more suitable.
    What you are proposing is similar to a quad-UAV that has it's own machine-gun-pod and FLIR. We have that in real-life.

    If we have a propeller or a hover-disk in this game where you can tilt the swashplate to direct the lift for direction, then it will be more efficient than using engines on the sides.

    given that output-thrust remains the same for all rockets, your "invention" will just stay in one-position horizontally with no acceleration. Explain to me how it can accelerate?  No matter what you do, it cannot, because of Centrifugal-Force, there will be the Torque-Effect, meaning nothing will remain fixed, so no acceleration. Unless you plan to use Kinetic-Force to launch and throw it like a boomerang.

    It's hilarious that I have this desire(I don't know if it's realistic) to run such in-game-business in this game. This is what I have in mind, and ofcourse, it will not be efficient to do this alone. Also, this idea of investment and financing, you will invest in the company as a bondholder, and so, you are entitled to agreed-fixed-%interest of your investment. Did you do the job? No, but you financed it. This is a way to gain interest if you have excess-money that is sitting there doing nothing that you cannot accommodate to grow with your already-occupied-time(other business). Stocks? You don't need to own Stocks if you just wanna invest.
     
    Point is, you can do the manual-work. But with ideas and Capital and you know the commerce, you can make more money than doing manual-work. Just like in real-life, the hardest-working-people are not the richest! You think! You will not sink all your time if the money can buy it. If somebody is working for you, did you know that they are making you money? What the Elites do in Asia if they have excess-money is invest it in Retail. That's already an investment there meant to generate interest (wholesale-price to retail-price).
     
    I'm not saying I'm not willing to work hard at all. But also work smart!

    Based on my research, in real-life, it would look like this; example

    Another-thing is registration of entity. A sole-proprietorship or partnered company(liabilities are to individuals), incorporated(liabilities are on that entity), a corporation(a joint-body that acts as single-entity. Liabilities are to that entity, not to individuals), etc, will all be defined by whatever law we make.

    I'm also looking to join an Industry-Organization(an "affiliated company", please look up the term if you don't know what it means) inside a fully-Capitalist-Country(Government-Organization), or just an Independent-Industry-Organization alone(that is an "affiliated company").
    I believe in the system of Capitalism and it's fair distribution of equity to it's associates. I will not join an Organization that has a poor concept of equity. Nationalism is not my goal in this game, but rather, work with people to achieve a common-goal that will benefit us in individual-progress.  At the end of the day, we are after all, an individual (I do not disregard the fact that we have to work together to experience growth).
    If such an organization exists, please let me know.
    I would like to contribute to that business the best way I can, and help achieve it's target/s.

    My experience is maintenance and inspection of small fixed-wing-Aircraft(such as Cessnas) and rotorcraft(trainers, some Bells) in school. I am not doing this for a job (and I am not doing it currently) for my own personal-reasons(the job requires you to travel and keep relocating and etc.).

    These ideas are based on real-life and based on my researches of it. When this game comes out, ofcourse, things can be ammended or changed to make them work. Corruption does exists, even in real-life. This is when trust on your affiliates comes in. Regulations can come from the implemented-game-system(such as RDMS), and even from the player-justice-system/government itself(which cannot guarantee certainty, but we are humans, we can negotiate).
    I did more researched(and I am not a business-person or an economist in real-life); An Employee has Stakes in the company because they are also contributors(even if they don't own any Stocks in the company). That is why they also get paid portion of the gross-income in the form of agreed-fixed-salary(example; you paid them by the hour on agreed-fixed-amount minus tax). After you have dealt with human-resource, the money left from the gross-income will be divided among Stock-holders accordingly. You need manpower to run a company, so ofcourse, you have to assign Stakes to the employees. Stakes are entitlement to gross-income.

    Hi! My name is Eternal. I am a graduate of Aircraft Maintenance Technician(or AME) in M-rating in real-life. I am not licensed, I am not that experienced, but I am atleast educated in the basics of Aerospace. Hopefully, it will help a little bit in designing in-game, perhaps. I can give you my own opinion and advice in terms of technicalities based on what I know.  
    I am also trying to learn LUA. I have no background in Programming but just a small bit of C++, in which I also self-learned a long time ago(but gave up). 
     
    I just like to introduce myself here and get to know all of you(and possibly, build some network/connections). 
    Also, I am looking for an Incorporated-Company/s to join where I will be a Partner and Shareholder. I want to work for a company that has a fair equity, liabilities, and rights(we all want what's fair).
     
    A Shareholder is an owner of %Stock in a Business, they will invest in that joint-business, and in return, they get to buy and own %Stock of the Company, and once converted to Net-Income, Shareholders will divide them based on each individual's entitled % of that Net-Income(if you own 10% of the Stock, it is also reasonable that you are entitled to 10% of that Profit or Appreciation of that Stock). By buying into that Company's %Stock, you are literally buying into that Company's %Ownership(the company is nothing without it's Stocks!). If the Company wants to grow and increase it's Capital, it will borrow money to do so, and sell those un-owned Stocks to a Holder/s (let's say I own 50% of Company's $400M-Stocks and my other partner owns the other 50%. Then we increase our overall-Stocks 2-fold [or double to $800M-total] by borrowing money. That means my %Stock of Ownership will become 25% and my partner is 25%, and the other 50% is un-owned. I still own $200M of that expanded-overall-Stock and so is him. That 50% un-owned-Stock will be sold, either to us, or to new-partners, then that loan is paid).
     
     A Stakeholder is the same-thing as a Shareholder, but they are more of a Bondholders(or Investors) though.
     
    I would like to form my own Conglomerate called "Eternal Holdings Co."  that will represent me and my Investments on partnered-Subsidiary-Companies that I will invest-on to diversify. My Industry of interest are as follows; Home Decor and Interior Design(like IKEA), Landscaping and Horticultural-Architecture, Institutional and Commercial Construction(contract), Military Construction(contract) and Hardware-designs, Commercial Airline Services, etc.
    I know that there are many ways to make money, that is why I am not limiting myself to ideas of few industries. It all depends on your capital and expertise to expand. That's my long-term goal there. The short-term goal, is to establish a working-business based on the limited-resources that I have and expand from there. 
     
    I am open-minded to all ideas that are reasonable, and I am willing to learn, brainstorm, and work hard to achieve success for me and my associates.   
     
    When this game comes out, we will all start with nothing. We will all do the manual-work and be a working-class. What I intend to do, is to build my Capital and become an Entrepreneur(from poverty to rich). 
     
    These Businesses will all be registered to a Country(Organization) where we will keep a record of our Finances and Income(through proper Bookkeeping) and file our Tax. We as a company, want to keep a positive-reputation. We as a part of the Private-sector want to contribute to the economy of our country(we after all, also benefit from the growth of the country).

    The word you are looking for is "Actuators". (they work mainly Hydraulically. Some can pneumatically or electrically<with motor> work).

    The attaching-rod is called a piston. But to call this whole-thing a "piston", it sounds like you are talking about otto-engines (the piston is inside that cylinder-bore). Call this thing actuators, it's just easier to understand.
     
    Yeah, the idea of Actuators will be great! It extends and retracts. The function is simple, only extending and retracting in linear-form. This kind of thing is basic of mechanical. The fork on a fork-lift, how do you think it can lift the fork? It has Actuators that mechanically-works with a motor to raise the Mast and it uses mechanical-chain(like in bicycles) to lift the fork. That's how it works, and this is basic-engineering! An ICBM-mobile-launcher, how do you think it points the missile upwards? 

    Bearing-joints and actuators! 
    Even with robotics, this is how it works. Oh yeah, JC has robotics-background, so I do not doubt this idea came to their mind already.

    They won't, and why would they? They are "Politicians", try to look at things at their perspective. They are individuals who also have their own self-interest. But ofcourse, they will not admit to it. They have to maintain their image to the public, so the masses will support their campaign. Do you think doing public-service is in their heart? Very few politicians are like that.
     
    Think of Kim Jong Un; do you really think he will or wants to go to war with the US? He is doing it only as a mechanic to gain public-persuasion and to continue to remain in absolute-power and keep that status. Kim Jong Un is the leader of North Korea, he is not North Korea itself and he will not think for the collective-interest of the country, but for himself. 
     
    Same with Hitler, I have seen a documentary, and he tried to avoid war with Britain and France at all possible costs. But the Allies will not accept his negotiation after the invasion of Poland and it ended in war. He was very cautious, he doesn't even want to bomb London.
     
    If I am the leader, why would I put myself in that position, given that I am a typical-politician? I will do bad-things if necessary, but I will do it for my benefit. Real-Public-Servant are nationalistic(they are rare), typical-politicians are not. It is hard to ignore the fact that we all have self-interest.

    Exactly, and definitely not myself! If I'm not PVP, then it's PVE. What is PVE in this game? It's personal-progress, not just Organization-progress. Most Organizations in this game are so PVP-based, including their policies and implementations. Very few to none have I seen any Organization lay-out a system(a good developed system) for private-economy that is beneficial for PVE-progress. A Republic-system that you will work on building yourself and contribute to society for the sake of working together to achieve common-goals. 
     
    EVE is to blame for this! F*** that game that it carried here!

    I chose Designer (Mechanical + Systems-Engineer to be precise). Gonna do what you're good at! I'm also interested in Entrepreneurship, but it is bleeding-hard to look for a country that has this ideal of Private-sector-economy and public(tax)-fundings of public-infrastructure(such as Ports and logistics like roads) that will make doing businesses cheaper and easier in the country. It will put the country in competitiveness-chart and may even attract FDI(foreign-direct-investment. 100% owned or partially-foreign-owned with local-partner). No Organization I've seen has that ideal, which makes Entrepreneurship hard. Oh well! That is the economic-way to look at things, not the martial-way.

    So Combat-system will be based on EVE's Tracking and Range. There is also just partial-damage(not 100%) if you do not hit directly. OK. I understand.
