I have to agree with Felonu here, at this point, I'm pretty certain Novaquark has read this topic. While I understand that you prefer Linux over Windows @Jenshae, there really isn't much else that can be said on the topic, without it seeming like anything that's said about windows will be refuted because of "how bad windows is" essentially killing the discussion. Remember that everyone has the right of choice. If they want to run windows, they can do so, if they want to run Linux, they can do so. - This however, is not the topic of your discussion, and it's now becoming the topic. So, for now, let's keep it on topic; whether or not Novaquark can afford to do a Linux port. As many have mentioned, at the moment it is not possibility, size of studio and funds. This , however, does not mean that they wont do it in the future. See here their official stance on the matter: First, we love Linux! Actually, several of our programmers are running Linux on a daily basis as their main programming environment. The game currently runs on Linux every day, on these programmers machine. Now, it does not necessarily mean that we can ship the game on Linux, there are many issues that we need to solve: compatibility of all the third-party libraries we use, selecting a distro, deal with the maintenance efforts that goes with having a code base that runs on clang and visual studio, etc. It is not impossible, we would love to do it, but ultimately it will depend on the market size relative to the costs of maintenance. So, if we can see a strong movement of the community in favor of Linux, it will significantly increase the chance of the game being released on Linux. So for now, be sure that NQ is fully aware of the Linux port discussion. If its shown that there is enough Linux market share they will look into it. ~ Meldrik

This -while it has not been discussed here on our forums- has actually been a debate people often have. What can you discuss and what can you not. While, yes, some people do indeed are able to have calm conversations or discussions when it comes to "real" - as you mentioned, anything that is reflected in real life - politics, ideology, and/or religion, most often than not, topics like such lead to unnecessary drama, conflicts between community members, hate speech. As such, most online communities opt out on those topics, as has been the case with our forums, as stated by the rules @Msoul posted above me. At this moment, the game will offer 2 Alphas and 1 Beta before release. Pre-Alpha -> Alpha 1 -> Alpha 2 -> Beta - > Release. This means, there will be a proper beta, as well as the 2 Alpha stages. ~ Meldrik

Hey Emtec3PL, In my opinion, I think Founders have actually been treated better now this run, as their packs, got for free, the perks of the Subscriber Packs. Example: Silver Founders previously only had access to Beta - With Novaquark's auto reward system, they now have access to the game from the Alpha 2 Stage. Gold founders get some of the perks from the Sponsor Pack. Essentially, getting FREE perks added on top of their Founders Packs. This, to me, is totally fair, Novaquark did not have to do this for us, but instead, they were generous to the Founders to give them the Free Additional Perks. This is the reason why Founders can't UPGRADE to Supporters - As perks have already been given. ~ Meldrik

Seeing as some time has passed, the roles may have updated to grant you access now. If this is not the case, you can try one -or two- of following two things; 1. Log out of all current sessions you have, wait a few mins 15-30mins then log back in 2. If the 1st fails, contact CS or a CM - Nomad in this case as Nyzaltar is currently out of the office. ~ Meldrik
