If you try and criticize me please dont quote me out of context. As I specifically said regardless of faucets and sinks in the instance you are quoting from. As a player, I dont need the isk I make to directly come from a faucet, I can still earn isk from doing things for other player that have it. This was a direct response to someone stating that if ore buyers are the only faucets the mining would be the only way to make isk. As for you method of making isk in Eve, I knew a guy who single handed did what you are talking about rose the price of plex from about 250 to 350 mil just to pay for a new station. Ofcouse typically he made his isk by spending thousands a month on the GTC to replace motherships he stupidly lost.

Trust me I know what they are and how sand box economies work. I spent years in eve and my first year on this forum trying to get a better idea of their planned economy and the abuse of temoprary facuets and sinks. Unfortunatly they devs havent gone i to it further.

Also I recomend you get authorized on the discord. That way you can get quick help from other players.

Well regardless of faucets a player could earn money in other ways, like designing a ship and selling it. The faucets are the ways the economy as a whole would earn isk.

Yeah. NDA doesnt let us say much. But as stated look at videos NQ has posted. It is still Alpha but you get whats expected from them. If you like the kinda game they say they are making its worth backing.

So it seems you have your account linked and game downloaded. The next step id suggest is get discord and get confirmed there to access the NDA section there. As for getting on the game, the servers are not up atm. They dont run 24/7 yet. Lately it has been thursday - monday skipping every 4th week ish. You can see the status and schedules here.

Clearly a fake post. Can we get a mod to remove it. Theres no such things as girls on the internet. I think most of us have experienced that. Theres some simple tips and tricks. But this is non NDA. I suggust getting on discord. Its easier and many of us there wont mind helping out new people.

Welcome, you can get alpha access now by backing if you havent already. But you forgot Eve. A single universe with all players interacting, no instancing.

I guess you wouldnt have been a part of Usually Kloaked around 09-10 then. As stated, we have extensive forumn sections for NDA, the discord is more of a way for us to interact during testing. And not many of us are as content as you. Might as well play some Mass Effect 3 while you wait for SC.

You will have to use the new bot to do so. Sry I am unsure how it works, but instructions were posted. Are you a backer that has access to alpha 2? If you did just back it can take a bit for your pledge to register. Should have plenty of time between now ans the next test to get it clear. Welcome and hopefully we can chat on discord tomorrow.

Easier to control. But the question will be is it as seemless or obvious. Faucets and sinks need to be balanced though. The only faucets i know of atm is bootstrap market bots that are said to be temporary. Whats the long term faucets. And I currently know of no sinks. Theres pvp for destruction of elements driving demans, but its not a currency sink. Maybe a market tax like eve? I've tried getting more details in the past but it seems it wasnt worked out or they just werent ready to tell us.

How is finite currency realism? It couldnt be further from real. Ignoring fiat currency, whatever was used to trade was rare, you you could still find more of it. IE, gold and silver. If truely finite it will become to rare to use for everyday trading. And as I pointed out above, it leads to hoarding. Dont get me wrong, as someone in on the ground floor ill take it. But I also have plans to abuse the hell out of it if they do make that decision.

Well youre doing a poor job of it. welcome to the circus. I suggest you get discord access before testing. Theres a lot of useful data on the forums, but its hard to sort through. Its easier for people to help and answer questions if youre on there.

Imagine a game where money is finite. You join 5 years later and all the money is issued. Sure things are cheap, but good luck gettinf that 5quanta needed. As the existing money is spread thin between more new players, it is harder to aquire. This makes the old wealthy and new poor. I have never gotten sufficient answers on how they will handle source and sinks, but early talks years ago indicated they were looking at how Eve managed their economy. Which Id say is an MMO that CCP handled it very well.
