I doubt this, because i think it's a normal misconception. From my experience, pvpers are simply the loudmouthest forum/social media warriors in every game that offers pvp and pve together.

I hope NQ actually moderates a bit, because this sort of post is so needlessly hostile and arrogant and so clearly against the terms of use.

You aren't capable of determining who is a cheater based on the tone of their post. You don't get to silence people because of your puzzling, evidence-free belief they are a cheater.

Stop with the personal attacks -- there's no reason to get so angry and certainly no reason to attack anyone like this. It's hard to believe any of your "arguments" are based on anything other than your emotions with reasoning like this. It's just plain rude.

Get lost sucker. I played this game for two years without ever using an exploit or glitch, did'nt buy the cheap schemata or used any other irregular moves for my gain. And there are many, many more who played within the rules and honestly. i may not have billions in cash, but surely billions in assets.

I'm strictly against a wipe and the main reason for this is trust. I will not pay a dime to a company which breaks all her promises.

I stopped all my subscriptions a day after the initial post from NQ (Shedding some fog ....)
With every day passing by my distance from the game grows - to get me back in this game NQ would have to produce a miracle.

I am not going to repeat myself, since by now I have made countless posts where I argument against different aspects of wipe and try to make rational explanations why.

And the entire reason why we now have this 40 page thread, is because the "internal discussion" blog from NQ was an obvious hit piece article were NQ try to sway players towards accepting a wipe using questionable logic and reasoning to try and justify it.

The short and simple version for all this, is that NQ make a clear promise that there would be no more full wipes and that players would keep assets after the beta soft-start wipe. So for NQ to even mention the possibility of full wipe and players losing asset, is at best dishonest.

The "early access" time was supposed to be over when NQ said the game was now in "beta", and proclaimed the beta wipe would be the last full wipe so that they could soft-release and start charging subscriptions.

Some of the later (cost saving) changes to the game have been designed specifically so that you cannot leave for longer periods of time. This was a conscious decision made by NQ. Meaning that regardless of if you are paying a subscription or not, NQ decided they would hold your assets hostage and saying that you have to play regularly or else..  And as with most of the full wipe arguments, they are issues that a full wipe will not change anything about. And I must say there is a certain irony in arguing for a full wipe, because you lost some assets..

So in six days, it's going to be one month from the moment you made some of us stop playing, some of us leave. Whenever I check this page for any update, I imagine your "internal discussion" taking all the mental resources you possess in NQ; working nine hours a day for three weeks trying to "make a decision." But, of course, it is a joke; because you aren't surgeons whose decision could save someone's life, you aren't managing a company with millions of subscribers and thousands of employees, and you aren't engineering a rocket or nuclear submarine. This sort of decision shouldn't take so long, so what comes up to my mind is the word "disrespect." Disrespect is what you have for us.

I don't care about money of my subs.
I don't care about talent points because they are 100% passive nonsense.
I don't care about quanta or constructs.

I do care about my time. Time I've invested to this game.

I'm 66 years old, my time is slowly coming short.
Life is most valuable asset I have. Ever day, every hour i spend in this game I have less and less of my time left. It is not infinite.

@NQ When considering this wipe issue, please respect your players time.

Just  bringing the potential wipe on the table again is enough to instantly put me on a "pause" mode with DU. it just feels like i invested years of time on the single promise that there is persistence and a wipe would only occur if there is kind of a fatal problem that cannot be resolved otherwise, and even if a wipe would happen all progress and constructs could be taken over to the after wipe time..
so basically that was a lie (looking on all those options being discussed "internally" at NQ.)
    - getting rid of schematics ==> do you know how much grind it was just to get there and obtain those schematics?
    - the quanta i own was earned honestly. and yes that was another grind to get there, so why take it away? just because NQ did not react when some people took advantage. so let's punish all players instead.. no, does not sound very reasonable. i don't honestly care about the players that have "more". for all players except one, there will always be players that have more, so who really cares (except the new players joining and want to avoid the grind we all had)
    - if you wipe  any of my quanta, exp, stuff, (without giving me all back via magic BPs, or the benefit of the grind by removing all schematics i see it as betrayal. will probably not return..
    - even putting the long term players on an optional parallel DU is not an option.

what would be OK for me:
    - planetary reset (all constructs as magic BP's)
    - Ban of players that cheated before
    - removing the requirement to own schematics for Tier 1-2 (or even Tier 3) items
    - game play changes that do not in-valuate previous "grind"
    - removal of all bot orders
    - creating a new System with new planets and resources without the possibility to transport big amounts of mass there where different rules may be applied. maybe even having a new 2nd currency there, so you cannot bring your quanta with you.

So yes there are lots of options of adding new gameplay and mechanics even without having to betray all the beta players that spent an insane amount of time in game to get where they are today. But the 2 wipe options you described are not really satisfying in my position.

    So please: reconsider
put your heads together again without just serving those people that scream wipe wipe in order to get an unfair advantage by purging a huge amount of time in grind for senior players who believed in past commitments that had been made by NQ.

    No.

They need to make up their mind about wipe/launch and do that asap. I can live with an iffy server, we've done that through most of the beta. I cannot hang in Limbo for the next few months, because I'm not actually playing until wipe/launch. The further that date is into the future the less I'll be motivated to return to DU (and I'm not the only one). Not to mention my subscription is going POOF!(tm) by the month...

The sooner they announce a wipe, the sooner i can totally concentrate on another game with more trustworthy developers. In case they decide not to wipe my accounts are on standby since 2 weeks, only logged in today to check if one of the patch-bugs hit my accounts.
Automatic payment is off, tiles are paid for 3 month - let's see what happens.
