And that has been NQ's problem this entire time. Since after pre-alpha they have pretty much been at a stand when it comes to actual game progression, even with 100+ employees.

It's a game made by 2 people, and has more content and entertainment in it right now than DU has after spending 30 million dollars and 7 years of development.

@SlaySomething I have a crazy idea.. How about instead of having the ore automatically brought to the container, we have to search for it ourselves... Instead of the ore being generic to an entire hex, NQ could hide the ore deep underground and then players would have to dig and search for it... Then you could use some kind of special tool that transfers the ore to your container.
The ore should be difficult to find so we could use some kind of scanner or radar that tells us the distance... And a skilled miner could then triangulate the location of the ore by moving about and judging the distance.
And the world comes full circle.

You managed to make players uninstall and leave because they can't see themselves handle the pressure of fixing ships that should not be broken and what is reported as broken is due to your algorithm not working as it should. (or better, is irrelevant to the intended target).
This construction thing is overshooting the intended target so far it is affecting players who designed and sold ships in good faith and do not feel they should now be punished by having to go around fixing stuff that is really not broken at all.
As with many things, we told you this was an issue but you once again did not listen and as a result more creators leave the game.
While I could fix my constructs, ALL of the triggers for the obstruction were with YOUR element design and how hitboxes work. And on top of that, what is happening now had _nothing_ to do with the original reason for these changes, people using tricks to place multiple elements in the same space and have them operate fine. It is the usual "carpet bomb the general area to try and hit the target cheap solutions NQ is coming up with that is driving people away as they impact the general enjoyment and gameplay.
And no, "log a ticket" is not a valid response here. We told you, you ignored us (once again) and so this is _your_ problem, not ours. Besides that, there is no way to be sure such a ticket would get any attention to begin with.
On top of that, you know you are going to wipe, you also know (or should at least) that this will resolve the intended target constructs from returning into the game as their blueprints will not work, yet you still shoe horned an otherwise pointless change which just causes more grief and disappointment for your player base.
Such a shame to see what once was a game with immense promise be washed down the drain by these things. Such a damned shame..

What lore? The whole "back story" of DU is a single A4 sheet, double space, times new roman 12pt summed in the vignette you watch after character creation.
Alien cores won't save of break anything simply because there's nothing to break😝.

NEWS : in news today, developers of game Duel Universe, sent out an apologies, for all the computers that players smashed, in frustration, becasue all they did was make Minecraft Eve online. With the promise of more..but somehow went sidewise somewhere... in other news, NQ uses the tears of players everywhere to make new, life extending tea.

We've been here since 2016. We are still waiting for the actual GAME. Which isn't there, and most probably never will be, unless some radical change happens.

Have you learned nothing in the past few years?? I don't understand why this keeps happening.. Does whoever makes these decisions have some mental defect which compels them to choose the worst possible option on purpose?
A short development history of the DU beta
Problem:
Problem: People don't have enough construct slots
NQ solution: Virtually infinite construct slots
Actual solution: Create a way to repackage ships and store them, removing them from the world until made active again. Remove ownership of dynamic constructs which are left unattended in unclaimed territory for too long.
Problem: If we let people use lua to fire weapons, robots will take over the universe!
NQ solution: An endless captcha disguised as a gunnery module.
Actual solution: Restrict certain apis to user input driven events. Develop solutions to detect macro usage.
Problem: Industry OP
NQ solution: Break every single factory in the game, hold them for ransom until people magically come up with the money to buy schematics
Actual solution: Energy system, and a much less imposing version of schematics
Problem: Somehow, we can't seem to balance PVP quite right... hmmmm whats missing?
NQ solution: PvP AlLoCaTiOn pOiNtZS l0l??????
Actual solution: Energy system
Problem: Warp travel shouldn't be free, or nobody will travel conventionally
NQ solution: Warp cells
Actual solution: Tie warp to an energy system. Make designing a ship for space warp challenging. Make initiating a space warp cost energy and come with a risk.

NQ solution: Remove ActivateWarp() from warp drive api
Actual solution: Interdiction modules, tractor beams, warp disruptors. Increase the time it takes to initiate warp.

Actual solution: Decay terrain modifications outside the build zone of a static core.

Hahahaha ... this is just comedy ...
I was already at the limit when I stopped playing because as a ship builder I did need many cores, for each ship I showcased, plus the base/showroom itself, then the bloody MUs ... but now ...
Anyway, I don't really care anymore ...

The organisation itself has 0 (ZERO !!!!)
This means that a player must first "give or sell" places to the organisation, only then can the organisation go through many players up to the corelimit mentioned.
A player will therefore become extremely important for organisations that want to build large projects. At the same time, solo players will be punished extremely severely, as an organisation no longer offers core places and you only have the places of your character.

Okay, so single player can maintain around 40 MUs simultaniously, but only 25 construct slots?
So I can't even use the full potantial of my account, that sounds bad for me.

As a ship builder, I like to have examples of my ships next to the BP dispenser so that a potential customer can examine the ship. As a solo player with no alts, this change will make that impossible.

Ya I don't understand these people. When someone says survival mechanics I do not think about eating,drinking. I'm thinking about an environment that can kill you, ya know if you fall a long distance. Or need special suits for certain extreme temperatures of planets, etc. Stuff that gives some challenge and diversity to planets.

Why does every single one of you automatically assume "having to eat, cook, crap" when we say "survival elements"?
No one is talking about having to eat and drink and what not. What we talk about (what I also explicitly mentioned in a video of mine) is survival elements as in: no possibility to breathe under water. Needing shelter from natural elements (storms, rain, snow, cold). Making it so that you actually DIE if you fall into an abyss. Making it so that you cannot simply fly off into space sitting on a bloody chair without any protection around you. All that ties in together with energy, industry and so on.
And of course you can have food and crops and animals and everything - not because you need to consume food every 5 minutes (which is stupid when used in many games), but because through crops and food you have other linking game loops, and the food you can use for boosts or whatever.
Ugh!!! God it pisses me off when people keep copy-pasting only the same one argument ignoring everything else ...
