  1. Right. The example above was only about the things happening in the last days, which could of course have been additionally increased due to errors in code, but the server problem is evident all the time, the "pending operation" thing is there the whole time, sometimes more sometimes less, just like the "lag", or the reduced FPS that was evident on the districts when many constructs around - which, again, points to a server problem - because if it was just bad coding, then the low FPS would always be there, and the pending or "missing parameters" message would always be there, and it would be consistent.
  2. Look at this. Pay attention to the digging depth (altitude, top right corner): Dig a few meters from -770m, get booted back again to -770m, rinse and repeat ... going nowhere: You know, I work in IT. I had a boss (thank God he is gone and I am the boss now) who was like this: We had thousands of high profile customers working with our applications and DBs. So there were 100s of thousands of transactions per hour. And as I, at that time being a CTO, suggested to him that we need more server capacity to cope with the increased transactions and clients, he was like "Oh, ok, how about this server here: This is great, it has 100GB of space and 100mbit of bandwidth - that is SOOO MUCH, and it only costs 20 euros per month". You can imagine my utter disgust at this. Anyway, this is how we struggled for years until I finally took over and we migrated the whole thing to a redundant high load server infrastructure. What is happening with Dual Universe right now - especially these "pending operation, missing parameters" and the "rubberbanding"-type of booting you back things, thus not registering the transactions, looks exactly like what was happening with our company, i.e. definitely too little server capacity. It looks like the servers simply are not able to COPE with the high load of transactions and is once more, like with all the Blizzards and other game companies, a case of highly underestimating the players and the server needs. A mantra I go by is this: If you have an application and you do your planning on how much server capacity you need, and you come up with a number X, then you should have 10 TIMES that of X. Because your plan will get shattered faster than you think, or as Mike Tyson so famously said: "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."
  3. I am a Ruby Founder, I have a Lifetime Subscription, so that is irrelevant to me. It's just the frustration because of the time. On Weekends I have some more time to play, and also wanted to do some more livestreams, but as it is, that would be an exercise in frustration.
  4. Yeah, great ... monday ,,, that is after the WEEKEND ... the only time when I have at least some more time to play ...
  5. Pending Operation - Invalid Message Type - Missing or invalid parameter - Internal Server Error. This is what I am getting --- it just took me over HALF AN HOUR to dig my way up only 500m! While being "rubberbanded" back and forth (dig, then it is undug, then booted back, then dig again, then get Invalid Message Type, then Invalid Server Error. Combine that with linked container not working (my other thread, even with "workaround") and this becomes an exercise in futility. Totally broken game.
  6. Did this, still keep intermittently "losing" the linkage. Just now when I moved 2 meters away from the ship I got again the message that my "Linked container is out of range" ...
  7. Something is massively broken here .... so many things are not working in the last 2 days ... now I cannot even dig (I keep getting sent back to surface with the Missing blabla error): And this weird looking botched mesh below me - that would be the "falling through the map" effect - which shows up each time I want to dig - and since 2 days it also shows up each time I log in. So, if I were to log out now (right now I am standing on the surface of the planet right next to my ship) and then log in again - I will not spawn standing on the surface, but rather FALLING through the planet / map ... this goes on for a while like this then I get the black screen and the "Back to surface" message and I am booted up to the surface.
  8. This is still not working, even after the patch. I just had the message again after moving 2 meters away from the ship that my Linked container is "out of range" ... And when trying to move something from and to it, the message again "Failed to move items. Action forbidden ..."
  9. But why? We already have countless social media crap - we have reddits and facebooks and twitters and snapchats and and and. Why yet ANOTHER social network? And on your phone you can also have Reddit and Twitter and everything else. But I guess it's the "cool new thing", right? Until another one comes around. Then "that one" will be a must have. See, the thing is this: If I want information and communication on a game - there are the games Forums for that. I already have a Game Account on this website, so the same thing then can be used on Forums - I don't have to REGISTER for yet another thing. And this is a WEBSITE, I do not have to "install" an App or whatever. I can even browser this forum without ever registering at all - and I can read all about the game. Why on earth would I register for yet another social network and give away my data to then be spammed and bombarded by infinite crap.
  10. Now I am being booted back to the surface! The message on the screen even says "Back to the Surface" after I dig a little bit .... What the bloody hell is going on?!! It's impossible to play like this!
  11. This is getting ridiculous! Now I am "out of range" the moment I move 2 (TWO!) meters away from the ship!
  12. Seems the range has been reduced by a factor of 10!! Why? I had a range of ca. 1km where I could transfer to linked container, now it is only 100m.
  13. If NQ would only read these suggestions, from you, from me (in other thread) and many others ... I am not sure where they're getting their data from, or what exactly are they basing the development on.
  14. Yeah, what the bloody hell is this now?! ..... Of course I tried re-logging, deleting cache, blabla ...
  15. No. I vehemently refuse to register on ANOTHER social media network. Why have the game Forums if they will not post such things here. Then NQ should delete the bloody forum and only use the hip adhd social media channels.
  16. Ingame the message said maintenance would take 2-3 hours, that is 9 UTC to max. 12 UTC. It has now been 5 hours ... No.
  17. This is exactly what I talked about in one of my videos (see below, especially timestamp 15:00) where I described exactly the same problems with the game right now. I also talked about that in one of the threads here and was promptly attacked by a resident White Knight here who shall not be named (and apparently spends all his time in the forums). It seems the adhd kiddies do not get that the longevity of the game is jeopardized when everyone can do everything and large orgs can do it in a massive scale with ease - so there are no specializations (or niches as you put it) in the game.
  18. I also crashed a lot until I finally found the optimal way of reentry. Here are some of my "epic failures" or "How NOT to land a spaceship":
  19. Are you using Tier1 scrap to repair? That takes a loooooong time. Use Tier 3 or 4.
  20. I AM talking about other moons/planets. The high tier ores are already depleted, almost completely. You can still find a bit of Tier 4 (very little) or Tier 3, but other TIer 4 and 5 .... nah, gone.
  21. Ahahahaha .... all ore will be gone in a matter of a few months. The high tier ore is already almost completely gone. Everywhere. And the game is not even released yet, lol. Just one more case of developers underestimating players.
  22. Yeah, how dumb is that "-5% mass when put down". What do you mean when put down? So, we would have to first wait for days or weeks to train the talents abd only then build our ships or used our containers, because the mass will be reduced only when we "put down" the container. The same is valid for atmo brakes and some other elements. Imagine how stupid this is: I would now have to completely dismantle the ship in order to "put down" the elements again. And most of them are enclosed in voxels or painstakingly aligned - a process which took a lot of time in my case.
  23. This is utterly false. It is always "nice to hear", but is proven to be false.
