anyone? i would like to back this, but this is something important to know.

Can someone describe what perspective this game will be played in? It looks like first person but i want to double check before i pledge on kickstarter. from videos it looks like ships are first person mode, can they be third person? what about when your walking around in world? can that be third person mode?
