I hope the community will be just as exceptional as Novaquark's ambitions for their game

I just wanted to introduce myself,
I'm a lone wolf but I'm open to teamwork.

Ocean planets + this + sports = fun.
A giant mesh slightly larger than the surface would encompass the planet, acting as the ocean. No way to remove the ocean, its just there.
If you're in the ocean, you of course get ocean-esque buff/debuffs like "Anakin's Sand" and "why is my ship sinking."
Then we get watercraft, and then we put guns on them.
There are few things I want in this game, but this is definitely on the list.

Worst case scenario, people go to Subnautica for their underwater fist fights.

I'm Sorane, in the real life I'm a French 26 year old designer wo try to work in the video game industry but ends up working as a UX Design whitch is not that bad when you look at it, and maybe one day I would be happy to work with Novaquark.
 
I joined the community and pledge because a game like this one is something I wanted to play for a long time, be part of a civilisation and help build it, maybe do some roleplay, see how the universe will evolve, negociate, going to war, create things. We will never know what will happen.

My name is Nacho, i´m from Spain and I´ve got 20 years old. And that´s basically all about me, well... that is not realy truth, is it? I can probably say three or four more things about me... By example, I can say I love read, play de guitar and gaming, other of my hobbies is the sci fy, in every variants, books, films, games, tabletops, etc.

I was discussing this earlier with someone. Imagine ships coming our of the ocean. Or floating cities like you said. Regarding this I hope they add the ability to transport water.

Just thought I would say a quick hi to you all. Originally backed this game with the Silver package back in 2016, been following the progress ever since. Finally bit the bullet and purchased the Patron pack last week as I cannot wait to try this out and hope I can contribute to the development.
Been playing most space games since the original Elite back in 1984 on the good old BBC Micro, and have not stopped since (All Elites, All the X series, EVE, Space Engineers and many more).

Cannot wait to get out there in space ........

I must admit this game/mmo/simulator only appeared on my radar two days ago.  Since then I am consuming all I can.  I will be signing up for the gold this evening.
 
I have a vast background of MMO experiences spreading across multiple "stylized" genres over 20+ years. I have been a part of server/continent firsts, I have played with 2 friends and achieved nothing, but I have always pushed myself and those around to have fun.  I have been hardcore and I have been relaxed.  I played Frontier Elite II on an Amiga back in the day, I was interested in Dangerous, but some aspects of that turned me off so I never invested the time.
 
The experience this game is going to represent will be something I have not been able to experience before, voxel and construction gaming.
 
As an individual who grew up building spaceships with lego and watching every scrap of sci-fi I could, this excites me.
As an individual who hears JC mention Ready Player One in interviews, this intrigues me.
As an individual who understands politics, governance, and leadership within an MMO is just as important as a statistic, this game makes me drool!
 
I am hoping that the building aspects of this platform are balanced enough that someone who does not have this as background can hit the ground running and can enjoy a learning curve that reflects a natural growth.
 
I look forward to engaging with all of my fellow persons who feel the same.

Something interesting here, to make of DU a more natural place: Tilo and Tranquility signed The Beingtree Hall agreement 
 

By this agreement, Tilo shall build The Beingtree Hall on the Tranquility's city-ship and local resorts. The Beingtree Hall consists of a public thematic room on nature, with two sections and a reserved area.
It's an open, universalist and dogma-free space where everybody can meet in peace, goodwill, brotherhood and equalty, no matter the species, race, gender or origin.
SIT is accountable for the building cost and design but Tranquility will help where possible under the InA Conami.

The areas of activity to which Tilo is oriented are mainly trade, logistics, industry, services, mining, building and technology of all kinds, together with culture, arts and sports, aswell diplomacy and inter-organizational projects.
Thanks to its advanced internal structure and its advantageous position within the neutral interorganizational network, Tilo provides its members with the appropriate framework to interact and advance in their individual and common objectives, in an agile and efficient way, within a friendly, creative and safe enviroment.

SECTION ONE
 
 
1. Sovereignty Integral of Tilo (SIT) can be defined as a non-state socio-community, cooperative, associative, assambleary and self-managed micronation, within the normative frame of the Foundation Charter of Tilo.
 
2. Tilo, as the territorial extension of the sovereignty of its founder and leader, Alsan Teamaro, represents the inalienable, inviolable and universal condition and natural right of its members, as well as of every human being.
 
3. Tilo is also a Community of partners, where each one relates with the founder and also freely with the other partners, in the terms of the corresponding agreements. Tilo is a neutral organization, associated with related organizations through agreements with its leaders. Among the diverse organizations in Dual Universe, Tilo functions as a free, independent and sovereign micronational organization, holding all corresponding rights. Its capital is the territory-sanctuary Alamo.
 
 
 
SECTION TWO
 
 
4. Within the organizative frame of its Foundation Charter, Tilo is open to the integration and participation of like-minded people, forming a community of partners, as a valid means to establish collaborative relationships of affinity, trust and mutual help, based on respect and the common good, in the framework of a harmonious, natural, conscious and self-managed organizational paradigm.
 
5. In such paradigm, all the members decide directly on the relevant matters of general interest of the community, using the timeless method of the Assembly and delegating to other members (legates) and, eventually, administrative bodies, the effective compliance and development of the assembly decisions, in all areas and with total transparency, under public supervision.
 
6. Integrity, equality and sovereignty are the principles that rule and must prevail regarding the members or partners of Tilo. Members of other organizations and every human being are seen in the same way, having the same nature. There are no distinctions of class, origin, gender, ideology or creed. Each one is responsible for himself and his actions, being the only difference the specific communitary function or the particular activities that each member carries out within the framework of this Foundational Charter.
 
7. Belonging to the organization, in the community mode, wouldn't imply a burden of any kind or incompatibility with belonging to other organizations that share the principles of integrity, equality and sovereignty of its members. Like the entrance, the exit of the organization is also free.
 
8. Tilo's approach or vision is natural, integrative, non-dogmatic, synergistic, universalistic and holistic. Everybody is welcome for sharing from respect, peace, goodwill and joy. The founder guarantees the observation and compliance of the foundational principles, that may find more detailed regulation in ulterior texts, according to this Foundation Charter.
