  1. I know your saying that the people who enjoy the game don't come and post negative comments. But your numbers are dimishing at an alarming rate. Do the math. How is NQ suppose to continue to exist? Also your whole encouragement of NQ to continue to mess with the current game settings vs making new content is exactly reason most vets quit before the game came out... Long history of them doing this...

If someone straight up said there was one single person working on Dual Universe I say they are a Liar... Not at least full time their not.

  2. Why would you think there is a Roadmap or a Future? Have you seen the content they have added since release? They touched more stuff then they added content... NQ just like breaking and redoing systems that exist normally making them worse or less enjoyable. They lost half their Vets just messing with the entire mining system at the end of Beta ish...

  3. Thank you, Sadly I never blamed you as you own the lot it's your rules not anyone else's. This was 100% NQ's fault for not padding their land correctly and their signs mean shit as that is government land not your land.

I hope you took the time and effort to log / record any info about people threatening you and reporting them to NQ. We can't have people like that existing in our game nor should you let them off because they only will continue to abuse and hurt other people in the same way and they should NEVER get a free pass in life.

Lol you're not leaving. None of you are leaving. And if you are, good riddance.

This is a classic cry for attention. For some reason the players of this game are more entitled and snobby than any playerbase I've been a part of.

One construct on one market and you claim "NQ doesn't care about its players?"

Lemme see some of your tickets and chat logs. I bet you were all very reasonable and patient and didn't lose your temper like little piss babies every time you talked to game staff.

All of you need to get over yourselves, take a deep breath, and stop praying on everything's downfall.

The height thing was one of many issues as stated. I think tbh he might of focused on it and the community focused on it a bit too much but it was multiple reasons. I do like how though the owner of the lot took an adult approach even though 100% in their right and to take it down probably due to the threats people were making and hopefully those have been recorded and saved so NQ on Monday can start handing out perm bans for death threats.

  5. Thank you for making DU Special. You will be missed, but I have a feeling in the end will all be missed sooner or later. For me it's the asteroid mining and the excuses about planetary hand mining. I accept there was lag and issues. But I don't accept this forced gang bang of asteroids myself. I was a gold backer maybe not someone high up there but I was sold on 3 things...

    1) Exploration of a Galaxy

    2) A Galaxy with multiple bodies in the sense we can hop onto a ship and go to the deep unknown this was the whole point of deep space probes, etc as the chance finding something was slim.

    3) Mining of Planets... Now it's just a forced mining game to encourage us to PvP really and not about PvE... Even Starbase did a much better method of asteroids that I would trade in a heartbeat... Then again NMS, Empyrion, Hell Space Engineers for some reason all can do mining better then what DU offers.

    Hi, Danny_UK!

Thanks for letting us know about this. What you described is not considered an exploit.
This is a trade-off for an immediate chunk of ore that costs players ore in the longer term. It’s also limited by the number of available calibration charges.

We’d also advise that you use our support ticket system when reporting potential exploits. Thanks!

It would be cool to have an override rather then lifting it each other. That is unneeded taxation on the server anyways tbh. Just a random idea anyways :) Or if you are like me you are just too lazy to be bothered by it period haha.

  7. So I did a little testing and I recruited by main account and used Steam purchase on it and linked it. So obviously I can go in the game and it shows you know that I had referred but it does not give me the recruit a friend rewards.

So my guess is that it's also not giving us the recruit a friend sign ups either. So both parties lose out if they use steam to add game time.

Hopefully this is something the devs can look into in the future. And maybe even account for all the ones that were already done when they do fix it.

    Ty

  8. I like the concept of challenges their little gameplay ideas that I think need a lot more work and a lot more added.

First off I think the biggest issue is that you do not support the ability to let people switch mouse support on any of the ships. This means for people like me who have really bad abilities to coordinate control-wise on the keyboard to fly ship or utterly failing these missions. I spent hours and hours and hours just finishing one and I don't think I want to do it again because it was an enjoyable.

The tutorial skip suggestions come up while doing them. I think they're not a bad thing to allow you to skip the beginning portions of it. For example in space I'm supposed to leave the hanger and I did leave the hanger. Unfortunately sometimes when I go in it doesn't trigger and that's it I have to close it down and go back into it.

Also another issue with the space one is the forklift ship flips onto its side the second you get into the ship LOL just an interesting little bug there.

I would love to see more varieties added eventually. Maybe ones where you fly to point a to point b to point c to point d just for fun. Or maybe a taxi service kind of thing. Right now basically you have a fetch and return infection return which is neat but I feel like there could be many other ways of implementing other types of challenges. Two of them kind of feels very basic especially in a MMO it just doesn't feel right at all.

Just some suggestions I like the idea and the concept of it obviously I just think there could be a bit more tweaks done to it.

  9. I'm having a lot of fun I've been lucky not to have this unfortunate error. That being said one of the issues is they didn't realize that weight from all the backer items could cause issues when coming down kind of a hilarious bug. There's going to be a lot of Polish and work needed to be done but hopefully this is the beginning of that finally.

The issue is how do avatar NPCs navigate inside dynamic voxel constructs.

How would dynamic npc constructs keep fighting effectively against a infinite combination of player constructs even after being damaged.

And mainly how to make this lack of intelligence not exploitable by players.

I can imagine a group of players figuring out a combination of voxels that would bug the npcs. Making then passive targets.

A simple hole in the ground made by a mining tunnel can be hell to a noob with a speeder. Imagina how many npcs would just fall into a simple hole and just die there.

No man's sky does not have to deal with this dynamism

Path finding is path finding. Weather it's generated or created it's path finding for the NPC... Minecraft is just a perfect example of this. Or better yet look at Empyrion. Sure not perfect but it does work.

  11. The issue is simple... NQ fucked up bad. They release a game with no core foundation for proper PvP / PvE... You don't release a PvE Game then attempt to PvP it... Just does not work that way... The be better off wiping beta and starting fresh or create dozens of new ores, tier out everything more and force people to go out into space and start colonizing and protecting.

Until people stop blaming each other (the players) and focus on NQ for fucking up badly it's going be a none stop blame game PvP vs PvErs...

Well its some of your fault. You died because you decided to try to pilot it.

You also made a ship incapable from recovering from that situation.

The disconnect it self did not kill you. What happened after dis.

Its definitly not 100% your responsibility but its not 0% either.

Would it be fair to ppl that spent their quanta putting 3 times more brakes?

Would it be fair for ppl that joined orgs just to have their asses covered in this situations?

Unexpected situations happen in space. Its your responsability to account for that.

This is pure bullshit and you know it... The ship should maintain speed period...  Let me guess and alt-f4er who exploits the game for fast stops?

  13. All I can say especially for brand new players who not followed DU that NQ would be extremely irresponsible to turn on PvP on the current planets at this point especially without proper in game info as well as none stop out of game info to tell the players what and how it's going to happen... You can't have what you have now and flip a switch your player base is going to decay faster then your already lack of skill on doing a 40min rollback on major econ dupe a week ago...

I like DU please don't continue to go to the path of destroying this game with rash decisions. MMORPG's are suppose to adapt as they age.

those mmo normally are clear on the number of connections allowed by IP, or if its single connection per network or per machine (well, per machine is obvious as i said and is pretty standard, per network tho is rather rare due to the whole shared connection thing with family or dorm and whatnot.  but the ambiguity in this case is annoying.

Id rather not discover it being 1 per network on the weekend we plan off to game all day (happened to us on Path of exile and well that pretty much made it so we never played again lol).

If we know in advance, its fine even if its 1 per ip. Were not computer illiterate, we can setup proxy server on some high quality networks and still each have an ip, but knowing if its needed or not is rather important.

More and More remote communities are under 1 IP in Buildings, Schools, etc. 1 Per IP would be insanity in 2020.

it also states "Playing at the same time with two or more accounts is forbidden"

So in my books unless your playing someone elses account and your own at the same time and that is talent I can't see any rules broken.

Honestly the word playing normally means direct Interaction. I can even see them letting us use an alt to run LUA scripts as long were not playing it actively as it be sitting on a box in the corner with anyone "playing"

Id like to know what the official stance is on multiboxing (which is basically the same as having friends or family play on the same connection from server point of view).

Running multiple accounts on one machine is a no go and is obvious, but id rather not get myself and friends banned for hosting a lan party over a weekend or something lol.

This rule existed in so many MMORPG's over the billions of years since they existed. I have a feeling this be used more against people who are using it in abusive nature.... But I like to see some clauses like keeping LUA Scripts going at a base, etc.
