I don't think we need this, the essence of the game is the fact that all players are on the same server, the same world, and allow players to create servers is gonna make the same effects than Ark/rust etc, we don't have immersion on little servers, we don't have responsibilities etc (With wiped etc), i think it's one of the factor for a bad community, players don't interact cause they're just going on another servers 2h after, they just don't care about destruct an entire village. And after all, they have the ambitious of an mmo, they definitively need one giant server to get enough people, create a community like wow is pretty hard and for now we're not 10000 for now

That's look logic, create a weather with impact on the players would take some times if we wan't to see a good work and not just a secondary feature. Maybe with the stretch-goals ?

It don't need a dedicated mechanic, suppose there is an alliance of organisation on planet X, they control the politics of this planet. They can create a system to send official contracts. Without the help of the developpers. It's official cause it's a big organisation who paid. And they assure a pay.

Maybe it can be some officials contracts, they assure you a pay. But it's not an obligation. You can work without contracts, depends of your boss, an organisation or some pirates ? A little miner or a rich boss etc

I hope this system will work on earth and allow Earth-combat ! Just thinking about the possibilities of this system with city created by players, it can be really good and allow the creation of some epic moments.

I hope dev will (post-release) create a system to create weapon, it can be the same than the ship's creator with some modules created and balanced by devs (Some barrels, some cros..) and the help of voxel. It's pretty logic that we can fight on earth with the same combat system than space i think.

I love this idea. But we need some rules to this; ofc we can't punish a players who just take inspiration, and maybe, to judge this, we can vote for players and create a court to judge these infringement. At least we don't need the help of the dev, it can be a player's choice. We just have to compare the blueprints- 28 replies

I think it's a great idea, regarding to a lot of games on early access you can do everything with a certain efficient. The only limit is the skill branch (But it's not really a limit when after 2h yours kills are max upgraded) and the material and after 20/30h of playing you can do everything with a super efficient. In this case the only reasons to group is to gain some time to construct or to defend yourself from other players. It can be good to change that with -super- skill who need a lot of time to be learned (Maybe passive after xxh of mining). Or maybe it can be physics limits (It's pretty hard to be a miner after some years of scientific work for an organisation). But i don't think a difficulty mod will work, we all have to face the same problems of this world, the same difficulty to construct a building or a ship. After all players can help to maintain a balance, the best miners can keep their secrets safe and share it only with some apprentices. So they can keep their utility. (Sorry for my english guys ! )
