if i select a specific number of things to build it'd be nice to have a gran total of each element needed in the summary that shows the recipe of the thing being made. it saves me from the simple math of multiplication (which i still avoid by escaping out of the window and selecting 'k' and putting in a sample order to see how much of each thing is needed. it'd be nice if could do it all in the one window.

it could be a simple "last looked at list" that shows items i was looking at either in the 'k' window or even selected in manufacturing devices i noticed it already has a feature where drilling down the components of an item will leave the "full path" at the top of the parent items, and that's great! but adding to that other branches i might have been on would be nice as i often switch about a family of things and end up building prerequisites. often i want to look at a parent item of something i was working on a few projects before and though a palette would be nice.

it'd be nice to hit a hotkey to select wherever there might be a text search box in the window. (for me i'd select cntl-F since that's already fairly common, but it could be configurable by user) :-)
