  1. Ok, I've been playing Elite Dangerous for a cpl years now. They use a 1:1 scale model of our entire Milky Way galaxy. Since the games release less than 1% has been explored. It's huge. Its first inception was also in 1985. Main game play is in what they call the "Human bubble" which is thousands and thousands of stars. Now, will Dual Universe be on 1:1 scale? For me, realism and science is a huge part of a great game. It's being able to explore the Universe without leaving my couch and feeling like your really out there. Also, this will be my only chance in my lifetime. If there's no actual science and realism and real scale, I and I'm thinking a lot of others won't be intersted. Right now, there's not much to ED, but it has realism and scale and I think that's why thousands of ppl play it. We need that in DU.
  2. This whole idea of hexes in game on one planet sounds kinda dumb. You have a whole Galaxy with billions of planets. Why are the organizations on one planet? If this game and Elite Dangerous could be put together it would be the greatest Game EVER!!
  3. You say "Universe" Do you know how big the Universe is? Just our Milkyway Galaxy would be big enough. Trust me.
  4. I play Elite:Dangerous and the star map is amazing. I hope they use something very similar. It's so easy to use. Also shows where friends are, you can add bookmarked planets or star ports. ED is also 1:1 scale so the map is of the entire Milkyway galaxy. I'm hoping DU is the same way. Makes exploring awesome. You could play your whole life and see less than 1%. This would make it possible for every organization to literally have their own entire planet. Building in DU will be great with having a whole planet to colonize.
