In regards to the concerns over the Odal (Othala) rune, I did base the original logo design off the rune, and elongated it, adding pointed tips to the wings to give it some distinctive features. At the time, I didn’t know that the rune had been associated with neo-nazi groups. I’ve more recently become aware of this and anticipated that it could become an issue. Clearly, our intention is not to promote these groups or their ideologies in any way. In the end, we went with the logo because of the aesthetics and thought it evoked the shape of a starship as @Shockeray pointed out.
 
The logo has already become a recognizable symbol of our corp to many within the community, so our hope is that we can fully associate this symbol with our contribution to the world as a ship-building corporation in Dual Universe. We acknowledge the similarities, and ultimately it is at the discretion of NovaQuark whether we should be allowed to use the emblem. As much as the logo has become an important part of our identity, we respect any issues the others may find with it and are open to opinions on the topic.

For logoo i needed 4 hours for create, because i have create a lots of other variants of it. But this is final. So thx. : )

As you are new on the forum, this is a first (but also the last) warning.
 
Your posts have broken several forum and/or EULA rules, among which:
- starting a flame war when nobody has agressed you.
- being particularly rude by calling people dicks and using some inappropriate text emoticons.
- suggesting to sell your account to someone else.
 
Being a gold backer gives you rights, but absolutely not those stated above.
If you continue with this behavior, your account can be banned with no refund possible (as you break the rules you explicitly accepted first when you created a Dual Universe account, to post on the forum and play the game). 
 
@everyone:
When you see something that is obviously the beginning of a flame war, just report it and don't respond to this kind of provocation.

Only from first glance. The same I can tell about any other game - on high level all games are just about pressing some buttons to see a different picture on monitor. 
Eve and DU are at the same time totally different games, that have similar approaches to some gameplay aspects.
Definitely both will be hardcore and have difficult learning curve. And this two factors are one of key factors to limit the public. The third one - less sexy elfs that fulfill fantasies. 
 

I Play video games -I don't watch TV- I don't smoke cigarettes- I rarely go out for dinner- I don't have a phone data plan for 100$ a month(phones are stupid they just let people interrupt you playing video games)
 
Point is I spend my money where I spend my time & subscriptions keep a large amount of douchbags out. I think its a great idea!!!

Hello fellow Noveans, I just wanted to write a short post to thank the PR deptartment at Novaquark. While I do not wish to go into details, I had to contact Novaquark recently in relation to my account. Their response was swift, polite, understanding and highly satisfactory.

A special thank you to Gary, but to all at Novaquark, for assisting in my situation.

Good customer service in gaming is rare nowadays, sadly, so something like this really makes a difference. I am honoured to say that I got the Gold Pledge, worth every penny.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dual Universe. The mechanics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of advanced programming most of the developer's decisions will go over a typical gamer’s head. There’s also Twerk’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his gaming philosophy draws heavily from EVE Online, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these game mechanics, to realise that they’re not just immersive- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Dual Universe truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the lack of automation tools and robotics, which itself points to the real life dilemma of potential mass unemployment caused by AI. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Novaquark's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. ?

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Dual Universe tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid ?

I sincerely hope this is a joke.  I would really like to believe that this entire post  is satire about how  A lot of fans  of Rick and Morty think themselves to be somehow better than everyone else  for understanding the “deep underlying existential meanings”  behind the jokes in the show.  If it is satire,  I applaud it for having just enough sarcasm  and realism to make me question  whether or not it’s genuine   
 
 If however this is not a joke, I beg you to please stop… Just stop.  It’s the “super fans” with that kind of mentality, who form a mob outside of McDonald’s demanding McNugget sauce, who give the show and other normal fans a bad name

Hello Dual Universe Members. I hope you are all doing well lately. For some it may be a surprise, and for others it may be not in their best interest. Either way, EMP Gaming is a community I have been working on for quite some time and It is mainly a website/server listing network. Mainly for publishing your website or server etc. However, we have many members that are interested in Dual Universe and the majority of them are going to be new to the community! Look forward to seeing a lot of newcomers from our community, and please give them a warm welcome. Many of you know about Unity League and the past organizations that I have lead in the early stages. First of all, I know this isn’t enough, but I do apologize for the trouble I caused in the past, and after I have had time to think over the past and be away from the community I feel as if I can fully understand what happened. 
 
While I do not like the past we have created; it did bring a lot of action in DU even before a playable build was out. It may have been negative action, but surely it brought conflict, which isn’t always a bad thing for a community. However, it got to the point where it became unhealthy for the community. I took a long break, and when I left DU I did mention I may come back. I have decided it is best for me to come back and restart. EMP Gaming will be a organization that is completely neutral to everything for now. For some of you, you may still have hate towards us, but all I can say is: we want to restart without the harsh negativity on top of us. 
 
If this is possible, and maybe some of you could come to an agreement to give us a good chance to succeed and be in peace, I would be delighted. I will have more information along with other info from silver2127, the other leader, at a later date, but hope you all have a good week!

I'm very very very glad NQ shut down their sales after crowdfunding for a year.
 
It shows great integrity of intent and avoiding the temptation to continuously extract money from their backers who are invested and possibly more prone to "sunk cost fallacy", and more eager to invest more than they should (risk) given subtle promptings from the dev.
 
It also as they've stated elsewhere: Ensured they don't over-extend their scope creep nor over-promising... Notably they released pre-alpha build to honour commitments and then avoided the Paris games week again to prioritize development and not lose weeks.
 
So thank you NQ on that front. Thank you, emphatically.
 
Secondly, I would like to chip in a couple of months or more upfront to "support" the devs (market signal and finance). But also along with this option comes the further option to create an Organization which I would also like to do. So end of year would be welcome for me on that front as well.
 
I look forward to joining this game community and promoting some positive stories with everyone.
