Solved. when I compacted my ship i was linked to my Storage Containers and had the Linked containers chosen as my storage. I had to uncheck the link and was then able to re-reploy the ship. Whew.....

I cant get my ship to deploy now. I have the correct tool but nothing happens when I equip the blue print. Any suggestions?
