    I don't think the XL is a "consumer grade" product at all and you would certainly not mass produce it. It's simply way too massive to use in huge quantities.

    This is only my experience, but while me and my group did have some fun during alpha, we all eventually quit and said we wouldn't play again til there was no more confirmed wipes.  Im in the exact same boat, as in while i have multiple accounts that wont need to pay until release, I have purchased more accounts since then, for the sole reason that I will be able to use their Talent Points.  NQ I think knows this, and they needed money, and they made the choice, and I gave them money on that choice.

    Insofar as game mechanics is concerned, "PvP" is defined as using weapons to shoot another player. That's it. This point of view is at least partially supported by the website's own information regarding PvP, and that's being conservative.  Scamming, theft, corporate espionage, competing for resources, and undercutting people in the market are not "PvP" in the mechanical sense, even if there are competitive elements to them. As such, the safe-zone is "safe" in the same sense that a kitchen stove is: it's not designed to hurt you, but you can still burn your hand on it if you don't know what you're doing.

    So if i manage to sell you stuff worth 10 h for 1000h is that PvP too? How far are you going to run with this term? 
    I'm still waiting for a game which dealt with it.

    WoW? Nope, it can happen. Albion? Nope, it can happen. Lineage? Sure it can happen. Here is said truth - if you ever thought it couldn't happen in MMO game - you were either deceived or ignorant. I don't know any game where guild leader allowed access to guild bank and yet theft could not happen. Even all PvE games I know haven't dealt with it. Please enlighten me which game dealt with it and have any form of guild bank or storage.
     
    This is not pvp. This is stealing. There is no fighting involved. You are safe if you are not stupid or too trusting. If we are going to unleash consequences for this, i'm waiting for the moment we start banning "unfair" trades. 

    The ONLY reason any game i listed would start dealing with it if this would involve exploits. But that is different story.

    I can't think of a single game where someone clearing out the guild bank was considered a breach of game rules.

    There is an actual issue with that? ? So far I have only seen people not realising that the grey text says "saved name" and "saved password" and that they can just click the login button.

    Requirements:
    Program Board
    Databank
     
     

    Activate Program Board anytime you want to activate the 3rd person HUD, but data only updates while your in the Cockpit.
     

    This is a fix using elements and Lua for 3rd person Cockpit.
    ----------How to Install:
     
    Add Unit tick Up3rd to any cockpit. It will not affect the program used in the cockpit so any HUD can be used with this.
    Just add databank to cockpit.

    Then paste Json to ProgramBoard and link with the correct slots.

    1 space fuel tank
    1 atmo fuel tank
    2 weapons
    1 radar
    1 cockpit
    -----If you do not use all the elements then delete any lines using that element.
    For ex. if no weapons or radar then delete entire widget area and any lines containing the words weapons or radars from both cockpit and PB.

    Literally the same thing gets said about Minecraft. And EVE is Excel in Space. Elite Dangerous is Poop Hauling Simulator.
     
    You can make some extremely simplistic generalist judgment about most games with intent to make them look uninteresting.
     
    I absolutely agree that in the current state vital core elements of the game are simply missing based on what the premise of the game was. I do not agree that what is there is not a gameplay loop that will keep some people playing for years to come even with no additions. 
     
    There is certainly a carrot, and that is building more and more and more - that may not be a carrot you want to chase, and that's fine, but it's certainly there.

    This is the databank version of this script. It's for monitoring machines only. Eventually I'll add more features to this, but I don't want to overwhelm the simplicity in its intent. It's meant for larger industries, so you can have a central monitor that shows you which machines are running and which need attending.

     
    There was a problem pasting the JSON into the spoiler, so I have made it available to download. Right click and Save as, or click the link and copy the entire page of the new window.

    **note: If you need to remove machines from the machine PB's, you need to do 1 of 2 things.
    1: Edit LUA on the PB you removed the link from. On the left you will see the names of everything connected. db and mach1 - mach9. The mach# must start at 1 and can't skip any numbers. So if you have 3 machines and you remove mach2, you must rename mach3 to mach2.
    2: (The easiest method) Repaste the JSON code to the PB. This will rename everything for you.
     
    ***You also need to clear the databank. Turn off all the PB's then, edit LUA on the main PB. Click System and the very top start. Change --db.clear() to db.clear and click apply. Turn the PB on then off then change db.clear() back to --db.clear(). Finally, turn all the machine PB's on first, then the main PB.
    I'm working on a fix to make this easier.

    About the situation:
    The organization Desolation (https://community.dualthegame.com/organization/4124/) has used a bug very actively to move ships from the Safe Zones (even planets) to the pvp zone to destroy and therefore steal them. Around 300 players have lost there ships and a lot of new players with that everthing they had resulting in a big quit wave. We know, that Desolation even allows their members explicitly in their rules to use any kind of bug and exploit, which is clearly against the rules of Novaquark.
     
    NQ now officially confirmed, that this organization doesn't get any punishment. So basicly this whole rules here
     are complete bullshit, because you can do whatever you want, Novaquark will not punish you.
     
    If that is the way NQ wants to go, this game will die pretty quickly because all new players, that don't have the power or organizations behind them yet will quit the game very quickly.
     
    In my opinion, this is a very poor and weak behavior of Novaquark and a punsh in the face for every honest player in this community.

    Du musst das Element öffentlich teilen (oder mit den Spielern die es nutzen sollen) und dann im Rechtsklick Menü noch auf aktivieren drücken, ein anderer Name ist auch gut für die Identifikation deiner Station.

    That's a big part of the issue, there is nothing to be done. It can't be dealt with. There is no recourse or retaliation possible, which is precisely why it's done. It's people who can't do actual pvp and so resort to grief tactics.

    Bei uns sieht das derzeit so aus und wird auch nur mehr und nicht weniger. Wie man sieht haben wir für Al-Si Legierung schon einen 2. Bahälter, Stahl bekommt heute den 2. Behälter. Da kommt man früher oder später leider nicht mehr drum herum. Verteiler nutzen wird zum Beispiel um Sauerstoff aus den reinen Materialien in die "H + O" Kiste zu befördern, das wird dann von da für Treibstoffe und Ziegel und sowas verwendet.

     
    Ich gehe auch immer mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Behälter, sowie die Industrien und mache "Element Umbenennen" und nenne es so, was da enthalten ist. Dann habe ich nämlich bei den Verbindungen nicht "Behälter M (123) (OUT) - Metallindustrie M (25) (IN)" ... sondern "ALSI (OUT) - MI Rahmen E V L (IN)" (Metallindustire Rahmen Einfach Verstärkt L, falls sich wer wundert), auch in der Industrieeinheit selbst, steht dann nicht "Behälter M 123, Behälter M 40, Behälter M 54" ... sondern "Rohre, Schrauben, ALSI" und der Ausgang ist dann auch klar gekennzeichnet.

    Son eine Fabrik bauen ist ein bisschen wie Lagerist zu sein.  Der Übersicht halbe hab ich auch noch Monitore an denen ich meine reinen Materialien überprüfen kann, ohne jetzt in jede Ksite zu gucken. Das sieht dann so aus in meinem Kontrollraum: (noch nicht fertig, da kommt noch Industrieüberwachung rein)

    (Fabriktor ist damit das Tor der Fabrik aufgeht wenn wir in die Nähe kommen, damit nicht einfach jeder rein marschieren kann. ^^ )
     
     
     
    Auch die Maschienen sind ordentlich eingelagert und verpackt, so dass man alles wiederfindet und nicht ewig sucht. (Sind noch beim umräumen, Stadtaufbau außerhalb hat Priorität grad)

    Thats not accurate especially in the context you have supplied. Lets say I played a game like Star-craft and was destroying my buddies base. By your assertion if I kill all of his units he continues to spawn I am a griefer. If I played a full loot MMO, which we do... and the target I have selected to fight has armored their core, as they should it will take me time to kill it. 

    If you say that me killing the same guy 10 times to get to his core is griefing, then what you are saying is... Once i shoot his ship and he dies, thats it I should disengage and move on. Not kill the ship, not be rewarded for pvping by taking the ship. I kill the guy one time, and he gets to say 'oh gee willickers you got me!' respawn, get back in his ship and leave. No thats not how it works.
    You are suggesting that by playing the game, as it is intended to be played... we are bad people. Thats not true nor accurate.
    There are no social consequences, this comment could be misconstrued in a way to suggest that if someone kills you or someone else... YOU may do something bad to them. IRL.
    This is the long and short of it.

    So I just wanna say, though my opinion is stupid and no one really cares... that the game has pvp. The game has pvp orgs which are large and like to fight. They are bound, because so many of you feel pvp shouldn't exist or safe zones for days. I told you how this was gonna go and none of you listened. Since you forced pvpers to have very limited means to pvping they have to take what they can get. So they hunt the commerce and trade lanes.

    When atmo pvp comes... there are gonna be wars. Empire vs NG, or like BOO vs NG, or like numerous other orgs vs NG/DSI/Others.. and its gonna be a blast. You guys will have the occasional commerce raiding but we are gonna be hunting each other and we will not cry and whine about it.

    The real problem here is that you guys feel you should not have to endure any risk for your reward, which borks the game. You guys made your own orgs because you wanna make something and be the leader, and instead of joining a larger more powerful org and working out how to PROTECT your convoys you felt that we should just ignore you because thats how its gonna work.

    Thats not.. at all how its going to work.


    But you lads will learn in time. Build relations with pvp orgs, join orgs that will protect you! Form mutual defense treaties... all of that stuff. Stop sitting in your corner playing blocks in a warzone, saying that no one should be able to touch your block city because... you built it. Imagine how this will work when they implement defense mechanisms, imagine that NQ will create a way for you to protect your ships that you wont even bother to learn because 'eww'. And you will still die. Then you will whine that you died from pvp, in a game with pvp, in an area that is clearly marked, for pvp.

    Join a pvp org, there are so many orgs offering defense for your convoys, there are ways around getting killed in the pipe. We see people defeating our tactics almost daily... when atmo pvp comes there will be wars between the larger orgs and you guys are gonna have a blast. Stop being salty over what is actually alot of fun. And Joacorderio stop projecting. C'mon hugs for everyone!
