  1. My telent que is in the months range, so any bonuses are welcome. There were the pyramids but one offs aren’t any use as they will be discovered, then posted on the web and its over apart from visiting which would probably be dangerous in a pvp zone unless you were in the right guild. Mini random discoveries could work. with NQ not wanting to have NPC characters and missions, you can’t really have go here explore this type missions. Player Org missions will probably be go mine me this much material, escort this ship, attack this org, create a distraction for my entry etc.
  2. Maybe when they bring in avatar vs avatar combat from the roadmap this could be an option for bordering.
  3. If not, maybe make the window persistence and scalable so we could keep it up over the side and a smaller size. Making it detachable so we could drag it over to a second monitor would be even nicer than my first suggestion for us running multiple monitors. I feel the above two ideas, especially the second would be great for multiple windows including inventory, help, crafting etc.
  4. And I totally agree with you. I want to make a blueprint for a service station for non factory makers which will make atmospheric fuel, rocket fuel, the four types of space fuel, warp cells and every type of scrap available. To do it under the current system would require a huge number of refineries, with most of them sitting idle most of the time. It would make it a ridiculous size and thus a ridiculous cost. I could cut down to one refinery, one recycler with better options, rather than twenty of each if I really wanted it to offer every type of scrap. So yes these work arounds would work on a factory like mine with probably 200+ machines, but would make no sense if I just wanted that tiny little service station which wouldn’t be tiny
  5. Would be nice, but there are work around... 1.current recipe can’t be requested, but name of element can be I believe, so when you change recipe change machines name 2. Can’t tell which ingredients are missing, but I believe you can tell that it is missing ingredients. Therefore when it does that, as long as you only have one ingredient per input container you can count the number of ingredients in each container by dividing the mass by the weight of one ingredient. Then it’s just a matter of recording how many ingredients a process needs to determine what is missing 3. Ability to change recipe... ok, you got me there. But if you have a bunch of machines with one (or more) set for each recipe you need, you can then have your code turn these machines on and off as they are required. So you would need a lot more machines, but you could then have code soma console would let you put in a order, and it would turn on the correct machines to run it. You could even do a quick stocktake to ensure enough materials were available to fill full thenorder.
  6. Fantastic. Will have to try and build one. You don’t know if there are any posts or videos saying how somebody made one (building version, not space elevator). That would make a fantastic lobby, and also help @Zireaa with her issues.
  7. Has anybody tried to make a real elevator for a building since they are not included? i know we have the elevator pads, but unless NQ decide to introduce them how hard would it be to make an actual functional open door, go in, press floor level button type elevator?
  8. Actually a list of all the screen and sign dimensions and preferred dpi would be helpful
  9. Our orgs city has been stuck for over a week as somebody has their core in the city with the RDMS wrong, the master core has no way of working out which core or any way of changing or getting rid of it unless the they find the user. Cores also need to be set so the first core in an area is the master and any sub cores can be controlled by it. May post that as a seperate suggestion latter..
  10. At least drop the 180 cube meter minimum build requirement ?
  11. Ore collecting off the surface is the easiest profession for somebody just starting. Problem is the ore prices are dropping like crazy as professionals with high skills can collect so much so easy. To give new players a place in the market, I think there needs to be at least one material which can only be harvested by surface collection. Maybe wood, maybe plants, just something that is surface only, but needed somewhere in production for something cool. The large scale miners won’t touch it as the slow collection rate compared to under ground wouldn’t be worth it. It means that new and old players would have a fair chance in the market for at least one item.
  12. As much as I hate mining, it’s the only easy profession for brand new players. We can’t kill that as it would make the entry into the game to hard to get to the bottom if the ladder to start climbing.
  13. I run a L core factory and in a different location a S core store. If the store and factory were both in the same core I would be able to move stock from production side to sales side automatically. Since they are in different cores there is no way to move stock (that I am aware of) other than going to one location, sticking it in your cargo and going to the next location. 400 years in the future (not counting time in deep sleep) and you are telling me we can’t have a delivery drone ? Would it not not be possible to be able to link two cores together so they act as one larger virtual core as far as placement, linking and Lua are concerned?
  14. It does mean that if you have a container which only stores one type of item in it, that you can determine the count of the item by dividing mass by unit weight. but yes, having a few extra bits on containers would be nice, such as contents, and some hooks for items deposited and items removed.
  15. In town, not playing game, don’t have access to the in game codex. Is there somewhere which lists the elements and there available commands we can look at out of game? I know that the website dual.sh has a list, but it doesn’t have a date on the page so I don’t know how up to date it is.
  16. Haven’t tested and currently at work, can we put a transmitter and boards in a ship? The idea would be go to my shop, jump in my stock refilling ship, click on its sales screen. It grabs the sales report and tells the shop it has it, refresh’s. Then I fly to my factory, land, click on the sales screen at the factory, and it brings it up there from the ship. Then I know what needs to be restocked. Thats what I need since my shop can’t talk to my factory 8km away
  17. I love the complexity.there are a few things I’d request though... 1 when connecting items, instead of having every single connection line visible, have it so you can select between a every line b only lines of something you have selected therefore it would be so much easier to find where things are in the blur of the other 200 plus multi connected items 2 have machines able to feed other machines. So instead of having to go into a container then to the next machine, it can go directly to the next machine. Of course if it requires 200, and you stop the receiving machine when it is only half way loaded, any items in the pipe line are thrown on the floor and disguarded like they are if you stop a process early. Would hardly ever use that feature, but would be useful. 3 allow machines to have more than one output. Lots transfer units fix the problem, but add a lot of bulk to my factor.. 4 let Lua view the contents of containers so I can make a big screen stock controller!
  18. Sorry at work, but aren’t there decorative pipes? If so, you could always lay these as a visual reminder. Or even use different coloured tiles on the floor to draw flow patterns.
  19. I have a shop in a S core in our org’s and I have a factory in a L core at a different location. I’d like to be able to have a screen at my factory telling me my stock levels at my shop so I know what to grab for a stock run. Seems it should be simple, but it’s between cores. It would b sad if the only way I could do it would be a screen shot, or having to go there in a Br pod rather than having a display on the factory floor.
