ForlornFoe reacted to NQ-Nyzaltar in "New Genesis" investigation.
    Dear community members,

It has come to our attention that abusive recruitment practices, as well as practices to artificially inflate organization sizes, have been recently used more and more in some organizations.

After having conducted an investigation regarding New Genesis, and discovered the following infractions:
    - Recruitment attempts that are harassment by private message through automated bots on Discord.
    - Ghost Accounts to inflate the size of the organization artificially.

It has been decided to reset the member list of the organization to its sole leader, TheMasterArchitect.
Furthermore, as New Genesis has been already twice at the center of troubles regarding recruitment ethics in the past, involving at least once (if not more) its leader, a temporary ban has been applied to him.

    Best regards,
    The Novaquark Team.

ForlornFoe reacted to NQ-Nyzaltar in "DSI / TSU / UEE" investigation
    Dear community members,

A few weeks ago, we took a stance regarding “out of the game”/IRL-related practices to discredit, threaten or shame publicly another Community Member (even if the involved person is guilty of several infractions) that could be an opponent in-game.

As the DSI (Dark Star Imperium) / TSU (Trinary Star Union)  / UEE (United Earth Empire) case blew out of proportion during January, we investigated.

We are really serious about differentiating real life from the game itself. Unfortunately some didn’t take our stance seriously. We gave them a chance to come clean in a private discussion and restart on an healthier basis. They didn’t take the opportunity for what it was: a last chance.
As they preferred “playing dumb” with Novaquark staff, we can’t have any trust that they won’t continue. Therefore we have decided to ban permanently those Community Members for various reasons (all not being banned for the same reason(s)):
Not being honest towards Novaquark staff. Making and encouraging ghost accounts. Abusive recruitment practices. Practising real life harassment and/or threatening another player. Making false report to Novaquark’s Customer Support in an attempt to make ban someone they dislike. Spreading real life information without the involved person’s consent, aka Doxxing.
(strong reminder: even if a person gives you real life information about him/her, it’s not okay to share these information with ANYONE else without his/her consent. You can’t predict how the other person(s) will use this information and if he/she/they won’t share it again. If some trouble occurs following this sharing, you can be held legally responsible).

This might seem an extreme sanction but this shows how serious we are when we say we are not going to let toxic attitude and practices spread in the Community. Our goal to build a healthy and friendly community isn’t just a figure of speech. Anyone caught to spread or encourage any toxic behavior will be removed from the Community as it will be considered as damaging the Community and negating Novaquark staff efforts (without saying that it’s time consuming and a waste of our resources).

Saying it’s a long time grudge coming from before the arrival in the Dual Universe community is absolutely not a valid excuse. If someone has a personal grudge with another community member, he/she should either:
Leave it at the doorstep and/or settle it in private and peacefully with no one else involved. Contact directly (and only) Novaquark staff if the issue persists.
The moment someone uses the Dual Universe community as a tool for IRL revenge, he/she is not welcome anymore. We’re all here to have fun. It should always stay that way.

Therefore, the following Community Members have been permanently banned from the Community:
    Lime / Fullsend / mmtheboss / Sakej99 [DSI] Primarch Zelevas / TharisUEE Melkor_Morgoth
In addition the DSI Organization member list has been reset, and the Novaquark Team has appointed CN_Firestorm as the new owner of the Organization, should he accept to take a fresh start on a healthy basis.

We also give a warning to all those who were indirectly involved (with the evidence we found) but not actively participating in the recent community troubles. Next time, there won’t be any new warning. If you become involved against your will in some shady real life activities, you have only two healthy options:
Leaving the group doing such activity immediately. Report it to Novaquark staff.
If you stay in such group without leaving or reporting it and the group is caught, you take the risk to get the same sanction as those actively involved.
This investigation has taken (or more precisely wasted) a lot of time from Novaquark staff. We really don’t like to intervene in players affairs. However, if there is a chance that such affairs damage the Community by toxic behavior, you can expect Novaquark staff to step in. We hope we won’t have to take the same measures again.

    Best regards,
    The Novaquark Team.

ForlornFoe reacted to NQ-Nyzaltar in Recent Bans: Clarifications
    Dear Community Members,

As some of the Novaquark recent moderation and sanction actions haven’t been clearly understood by some, here are some explanations and clarifications. We are aware that members from “Dark Star Imperium” (DSI) and “New Genesis” think that the decisions taken by Novaquark have been unfair and/or feel like a punishment. It’s not a punishment and we limited the inconvenience to the minimum possible by just resetting the member list of the Organization. This has been done to remove all ghost accounts and make the involved Organizations restart on a healthier basis.

We also made sure that at least one person in each of the involved Organizations can re-invite real members in the Organization:
    - CN_Firestorm for “Dark Star Imperium”
    - Chipfromearth/SpaceKitty for “New Genesis” (until the end of TMA’s ban)

You are more than welcome to contact them to join theses Orgs again if you wish to do so.
Keeping in mind that besides the cleaning of ghost accounts, nothing else has been removed. All community work/content related to these Organizations have been left untouched. We are also going to send an email to all ex-members to inform about the member list reset and offer them to join their former organization again.

Regarding the ban of the leaders of these Organizations:

We understand that seeing your leader banned might be frustrating. However, we want to make it clear that being at the head of a big Org does not give a free pass on toxic behavior and/or bad practices that could damage the Community as a whole. Being passionate, being young, creating quality content is no free pass for such things either. That’s why all the permanent bans decided recently are final. We are not giving such heavy sanctions with a light heart or on a whim. In more than four years, the number of community members who have been banned permanently from the community can still be counted on the fingers of one hand. We think it speaks volume... Some recent rumors say that the bans may be reversed or canceled. There is no ground to such rumor. It’s just disinformation. The fact that a banned member will “not tolerate that” has no weight either. It’s the Novaquark team’s call and the Novaquark team alone.

Now, we want to give a fair warning to anyone wanting to challenge Novaquark’s decisions openly, directly or indirectly. If a community member has been permanently banned from the Community, he’s excluded from the game, which means he shouldn’t be in any Organization anymore. Reinviting or keeping a community member banned permanently could have serious consequences (such as Organization disbanding but not limited to that, as this could trigger other sanctions for those actively supporting banned members).

Now to address some specific questions/rumors:

We exceptionally give some details to the Community to show that we are not banning randomly or without a serious reason. We do it only because some banned members try to take advantage of the confidentiality policy to enforce their own narrative and play the victim, and attempt to misinform other players. Don’t expect the Novaquark team to give anymore information on this case or the possible future ones.

    “Banning Sakej99 was a mistake. He’s a different person from FullSend/Lime”.
The Novaquark team is aware that Sakej99 and FullSend/Lime are different persons. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the permanent ban affects FullSend/Lime will also affect accounts he may have access to (by account sharing, which is forbidden in our EULA). This is one of the main reasons why we are so serious about forbidding account sharing. If someone sanctioned got access to your account, the sanction can be extended to the said account even if you haven’t done anything wrong.

“FullSend/Lime has been unfairly banned, with no prior warning.”
First, for the infraction this community member has committed, there will never be a warning as it was obviously utterly wrong: if a false report is sent to the Customer Support in an attempt to make another community member banned, the one getting the ban is the one who sent the false report. And in this case, indeed, there is no prior warning.

Second, FullSend/Lime is probably the person in the community who would deserve multiple permanent bans (if it was possible), due to previous infractions in addition to the most recent one. Playing the card “no prior warning” is just complete dishonesty and denial of assuming the consequences of his actions during the past couple of years. Here is a short list of the infractions he has done in the past:
    - Asking members of one of his former organization to give login and password of their accounts to him.
    - Using accounts of other players.
    - Creating ghost accounts.
    - Using a loophole in the organization management system on the Community Portal in an attempt to sabotage/destroy an organization by using the account of another player.
    - Participating in a doxxing attempt.
    - Always denying the facts or trying to minimize them, to the point of reaching self-absolving, to avoid dealing with the consequences (a practice reiterated with his last infraction).
Due to the history of this community member, there was no reason for “prior warning” with his last infraction. He has been warned too many times already. Mistakes are not erased just because it happened “long ago”.

By default, Organisations where FullSend was the founder have their ownership transmitted to the oldest member with the ability to create an organization, which gave the following results:
    - CN_Firestorm becomes the new owner of “Dual Insider”.
    - Gravetender becomes the new owner of “Project Azimuth”.
If you are a member of one of these organisations and you want to discuss these changes, please contact the new owner of the Organization.

(About DSI) “There has been a total wipe of the parties to kill the conflict”
Wrong. If that was the case, we would have dismantled “DSI” directly and ban both DSI leaders, which would have included CN_Firestorm. You can assume that if it’s not the case, this is precisely because there is a difference between CN_Firestorm and Primarch. This sanction wasn’t against DSI. The sanction was against Primarch.

Some of the banned members may say “They will be back”.
It’s up to them. However, if we catch them, they will be banned without further notice.

    Best regards,
    The Novaquark team.

First off, here is a forum page that has all information Dual Universe that you currently need to now. Otherwise the first priority to read.

Secondly, glad to see you have a hobby of shooting people in the face. Great hobby to have! Sadly the founder packs are non-transferable and each account belongs to one player. You can't obtain another person's account as that is against the rules. However though, there are going to be another round of packs with the only difference really being the fact that some rewards were removed, like lifetime subscription, so there's that!

Tell me, what do you want to do in this game now that you have found it?

Once again, welcome to Dual Universe.

To the first point, you will not be able to construct your own safe zones, instead, they will be discoverable (and likely very valuable) throughout the galaxy.

You will have to defend yourself, or go out far enough to where people won't find you very easily (perhaps even underground?). It may sound like a bad thing, but if everyone could build their own safe zones they might never have a reason to leave them or group together to establish larger safer colonies.

As to point #2, I don't know about banks, but you will be able to build your own markets (which is effectively what you're talking about here). And you (as we were told) should be able to set your own tax rate on them to raise some credits. Of course, if you have an insanely high rate people might just choose to go a little bit further to get somewhere where selling will be profitable for them (or where prices are cheaper).

I think a key thing to take away from all of this is that you will have to interact with other people in some way or another to get things done, you won't be able to just go out by yourself and be completely safe getting everything done on your own. Part of that "thriving economy" depends on the interaction of players between each other, much like the real world economy.

I could write pages about how the economy might work in DU, suffice to say that the wealth of the economy depends entirely on the number of people playing the game. The more people, the better.

ForlornFoe reacted to Dxeo in KO Mechanic
Hmm, personally I'm not a big fan of the KO mechanic. In normal situations a KO mechanic would not be a huge game changer. However, in a big war the KO mechanic would be incredibly annoying, if someone receives fatal damage, they should die. I am not against adding weapons that are made to incapacitate the enemy instead of killing them, but an overall KO system is not to my liking.

Now I say it's not to my liking though I'm not against the idea of having it, but the version I would recommend is the timed KO state. If someone gets KO'd, they would fall down, and a timer would start ticking before they "bleed out" and die, if they receive damage in this state the timer would move faster. If a person is "revived" in time, they would get back up on their feet but with a massive debuff that would require a med-kit of sorts to rectify. Even after the med-kit, they would still maintain some of the debuffs. People who go down the medical skill tree would be able to lessen the effect of the debuffs, as an added mechanic. Some might call this a bit "extreme" though this is the system I would like to see if KO gets added.

ForlornFoe reacted to Lethys in BOOM - BOO Mass test for alpha
    Greetings people,

As alpha is approaching fast we would like to announce the first player organized Mass tests, called BOOM!
For all alpha backers out there we in BOO would like to do those tests with as many people as possible. As this is an MMO with a strong focus on player interaction we want to help NQ in testing their server tech.
It’s perfectly fine if you test the game for yourself or with friends but doing the same things in huge groups has to be tested thoroughly too - so watch this thread (follow it!) or discord for the announcements of the next BOOM!

    tl:dr facts:
    - player organized mass tests
    - narrated and guided by BOO staff
    - two tests on the same day (8pm GMT+2 and GMT-6) for EU and US timezone
    - NQ will monitor these tests for further evaluation
    - weekly tests of different areas of DU
    - g-drive storage for bug-reports and easy access for NQ

    What YOU need to do:
    - join https://discord.gg/CYNYpT9 (BOOs relay discord)
    - go to https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzJofzdOkjNAU0RuMkYtVWE4QkU
      and RTFM
    - download the spreadsheet and enter your details (ingame name, system, drivers)
    - watch out for the announcement and join the voice channel in the BOO discord
    - hopefully understand english
    - if you hear “CHECK CHECK” - STFU
    - do what you are told to do
    - have fun!

We plan on doing those tests on a weekly basis, depending on the server-uptime and our RL. As the adults we all are you should easily be able to understand the rules of these tests and how to deal with the spreadsheet.

If you want to help organizing stuff for these tests (building ships in advance, scripting, building bases to test in,...) feel free to contact a staff member of BOO.
If you have any questions, issues or just want to improve stuff - please reach out to us.

We will upload a document before each test where we will outline the basic testing scenario. Feel free to reach out to us via discord or in that document (you can edit it!) with your ideas! Each of these documents will be in the respective folder on the drive to let you guys know in advance what to prepare for the tests and what we will do.

    The first BOOM will include:
    - movement
    - gathering people in a spot
    - jumping/crouching/running/whatever with different distances to each other
    - (hopefully) a little surprise for you all

*NOTE* The spreadsheet might be subject to change, as we want to make the reports as convenient as possible for NQ for further evaluation
    See you in alpha

The first mass test will be announced here and on discord - most likely one week after official alpha release of DU

Note: As things change in such a phase of a game, things like the discord, gdrive and other stuff might and possibly will change too. In order for everyone to be on the safe side (NDA) and because of the ever changing nature of a pre-alpha and alpha, I'm in contact with NQ since the beginning.

ForlornFoe reacted to jintzy in Adobe to End of Life Flash
Here I know the history... I have dealt with it since the problem started.  It has nothing to do with age.  C++ is super old and the best video games are still written on it. (Granted that's open for debate but you know what I mean)

In 2007 when the iPhone was new, it was a first of its' kind.  Being able to run Flash on the iPhone would have been extremely awesome except that Flash required to take "control" of certain parts of the iPhone and Apple would not allow it.  Apple has been protective of their OS and the capabilities of apps to prevent any hacking and other security issues...  The arguments wildly range as to why or who wants what but ultimately there are policies with how the iOS operates and regardless of opinion, it is to control and mitigate "unknowns."

For example - you can get a WiFi signal reader app for Android phones that will give you detailed info about your signal, but this is not possible on iOS.  This is the sort of stuff I'm talking about and Flash wanted to be able to control it.  It was pretty nasty in terms of legal battles.

Since that time, other technologies have stepped up to the plate to perform in ways that only Flash could, and they do it better, faster, and without a ton of proprietary software to download from Adobe or needlessly include into the OS.

Ultimately, flash was a great idea that created the possibilities of lot of online stuff like YouTube.  But now with HTML5 for example that's not even necessary....

There is a lot more about this subject, but really why... Is because flash just isn't as good as it was when there was nothing else like it.

    Here's some history:
    https://wikileaks.org/wiki/Why_Apple_Won't_Allow_Adobe_Flash_on_iPhone

Hope this is somewhat entertaining - I'm not a historian but I have been in I.T. professionally since the early 2000's and I have to say I am more than pleased to see this happen. Good riddance Flash!

ForlornFoe reacted to NQ-Nyzaltar in Organization management & Exceptional NQ Interventions
    Hi everyone.

Until now, we couldn’t manually manage (remove/promote) Legates in an organization easily on the administration side.
Since Yesterday, we are able to use a feature simplifying considerably the process.

As we already mentioned many times in the past, we (Novaquark) don’t want to involve ourselves in the management of organizations created by players. However, we are also aware that the current (and temporary) state of the management system contains obvious flaws. You know it. We know it. As this is still “work in progress”, we hoped that organizations creators will be reasonable enough to avoid abusing the well-known flaws of the system and would wait that all the rules are implemented before trying to sabotage other organizations.

So we are going to state the obvious here:
It’s ok to “play a bad guy” and use dirty tricks once all the rules are implemented. However, it’s absolutely not ok to start exploiting the flaws of a work in progress system: this is not “playing a bad guy”, this is just toxic behavior and trying to gain an advantage while not playing by the rules.

That’s why - despite our will of non-involvement - we will make exceptions until the full implementation of the RDMS (Rights & Duties Management System) for the Organizations.

Why did we decide to intervene?
    Two reasons:
    1) In the current state, a Legate has much more power than in the final system, due to the minimalistic mechanisms temporarily in place. If in the current system, any Legate has the right to promote a member to Legate status by himself alone, in the final system the default rights will be completely different: promoting a legate will be done only with a vote by majority rule, or the right to promote someone will be given to specific persons and not every Legate.
    2) In the current state, a Legate cannot be demoted by any mean (even by the creator of an organization). In the final system, default configurations will allow to demote a Legate with a vote by majority rule. A Legate could also be demoted by specific persons who have been given the right (most probably by the Organization founder) to do so.

How is this going to work?
Each organization is going to have one "wild card": if there is a problem with the Legates in an Organization, you can contact the support team at support@novaquark. However, keep in mind we (Novaquark) reserve the right to intervene (or not) on a case by case basis.

Example of a case where we will intervene:
Some Legate using the flaw of the current temporary system to vandalize (or generate troubles in) an organization.

Example of a case where we won’t intervene:
Two organizations have merged in one, and now both creators of previous organizations want to mutually exclude each other from the organization. In this kind of case, we won’t remove anyone. We won’t favorize one creator above another. However, we will do our best to help finding a satisfying solution for both parties.

    As a global reminder:
If someone finds a loophole in the rules in place (that may happen), and this loophole is used to generate trouble and spread a toxic behavior, we won’t stay idle watching the situation deteriorating.

    Best Regards,
    Nyzaltar.

ForlornFoe reacted to yamamushi in Once Again.... The Reddit Community
The last time I brought this up, the person in question was quick to show up here to try and defend themselves for leaving the subreddit in such a poor shape, but as of now that person has been suspended from Reddit and the subreddit has once again become neglected (could have predicted that...)

So, again, I am posting this to point people towards the better subreddit -> https://www.reddit.com/r/dualthegame/  (I'm not a mod there)

The other one was seemingly completely abandoned, with a 10-day old Reddit account currently "in charge" of it and a bot account put in to keep people from trying to request it from /r/redditrequest.

Why am I bringing this up, again?

Because the success of Dual Universe depends entirely on the community and the way that it is reflected in various forms around the gaming world. It's hard to argue that Reddit doesn't have an impact on games, and there are plenty of vibrant Reddit Gaming communities out there that interact back and forth with devs and give the impression that their games are healthy (full of players) and still active.

If a random user were to come across /r/dualuniverse, they'd see months old posts sitting around, a completely unresponsive mod team, and a sidebar that to this day is full of incorrect information (the old mod refused to remove No Man's Sky as a related subreddit, for example).

That's a disappointment because of the work that the /r/dualthegame mods put into making their subreddit active and accurate, yet because one person buried their head in the sand and refused to lift a finger for their subreddit, /r/dualuniverse is going to continue to get more traffic and subscribers regardless of how bad it is.

    So why post this?

Because if we want DU to survive into the future, and to continue growing and be seen as an active community, we should do our part to continue directing people to what is the best reflection on it (and /r/dualuniverse is not it).

So if you're on Reddit, or you know Redditors who are into Dual Universe, point them towards /r/dualthegame.

And to the person responsible for the mess that is /r/dualuniverse, you should feel ashamed of yourself for leaving this stain on the community. Plenty of people reached out to you asking you to fix the subreddit, instead you wanted to feel this imaginary power over the community, refused to do anything about the mess you left, spread a bunch of misinformation about me on the subreddit and discord, and then got yourself suspended from Reddit leaving the subreddit in the condition that it's in now.

While Horizon does focus in scientific research, we also require a Security detail/corps to protect assets and scientists within the institute. And then there is the head counsel, Horizon will be controlled by 5 people, a decision can only be reached when the majority have the vote, We will make the dealings, hand out payments, and hire the workers.

    Research Corps
The research corps is the main sector within The Institute, they focus on projects of their own. the only thing is though, when someone finishes a project they must turn it into the Horizon Counsel, they will review it and give the approval for the project. As long as your project isn't hurting people, illegal...ish, or killing people, your project will always be accepted,

    Security Corps
They defend the area were the scientists work, since we will most likely be in a city, we do not need a full on military, the security corpse will defend the lab with the scientists if we become under attack. Security corpse will be payed the same as scientists, price is negotiable.
Thank you for reading and considering, and always, Look Towards the Horizon.       (This group was inspired by The Institute From Fallout 4)

1st I understand what the vault is and how it works....

2nd I am not suggesting the fragmented dac system, this is the discussion on if DAC should be loot able.  Which has not been answered by NQ.

3rd I read that, and NQ was talking about the fragmented plex, vs keeping DAC whole.

4th I have played EVE, along with many other MMOs

5th....in our player driven discussion yes that was one of many arguments against looting them, but as this official NQ topic for the discussion, these were and still are my arguments against that.

Since you are obviously toxic on these forums and have proven that behavior time and again, this will be my last response to you.  I don't believe in feeding trolls.

I am against having Loot able DACs in game. for the following reasons.

    1)  It is assumed that once you use it to add to your game time, its a timer, so if you know you are going to be off line for an extended time, you should have the ability to buy them when they are cheap, and hold onto them for when you need to use them.
    2)  It is not IMHO emergent game play to loot these, as they have no real game world purpose so why should a character even want them?  Resources on the other hand, yes a character would desire that.
    3)  This whole market crashing BS can still be done safely using the safe zones or other methods as described by GrandMasterApex.
    4)  If Credits are non loot able, which has a real presence in the game, why should DACs not also be safe?  It is more emergent game play to demand the ability to loot credits.
    5)  IMHO it is a better plan to resolve these complaints of hoarding, by making these items only able to be sold or traded ONCE.  This solves almost all of the legitimate complaints against keeping them non-loot able, but also lets players hold in game purchased ones till they need to use them safely.  This will also stop scams and griefing people buy luring them out to remote PVP areas with extremely low prices, to only be pounced on after they are purchased.

I'm torn on the poll so I didn't vote yet. A fresh brand new player will have the absolute minimum in everything, but do I let him into private org areas just because he has nothing? Probably not. Would I be more inclined to do so if he said he was with a neutral org and had no hostile intentions and was definitely not recording and promised he wouldn't sell the recording to my enemies even if he was recording? Eh.

Trust would be a big concern here. But there's also the matter of how important keeping secrets will be in the first place. How big of a deal is it if I have an undergorund base where I'm building a ship and someone comes in and sees it? Is that a big problem that I get upset about, or is that really not even a concern and I can just say, eh who cares. It's hard to tell at this point how big of a deal some secrets will be.

So, if you really want to give everyone the impression that youre Space Switzerland, you're probably going to have to keep a small team and really ensure that those people aren't doing anything shady. But it also may be less of an issue than one may initially think.

    Hi there,

I'm writing this post on behalf of the DUHS (Dual Universe Historical Society)

We just came up with an idea:

As we know, every account can have three characters. What would you do with the other 2 alts?

We were thinking of maybe an alt like: DUHS-Writer Lethys

    Here a few prerequisites:

    - Such an alt would only be skilled to fly the most basic ship (later on maybe the most basic FTL ship)
    - No weapon / AVA / CVC skills allowed
    - No defensive (to be seen....) skills allowed
    - No weapons on person or on that ship
    - No trespassing of territory
    - Only approved members of DUHS (maybe a public list with main character names too)
    - be polite, ask before doing/recording stuff,... - don't be a jerk
    - You're not allowed to use such an alt in any other way than recording stuff for DUHS (so you can't get access to a market hub your main char is banned from)
    - No usage of devices which could be used to spy on others (like scanners)
    - IF there is an API or something for skills, such alts have to make this API publicly available so that others can look up their skills in order to control them

So such an alt would only be used to record an ongoing battle for example as bystander. Or make a live-stream and comment on it (as players may be widely spread later on and can't participate if they wish). You could also record/showcase the latest model of a ship or city (let's say ODY will be very famous and are the first ones to build a deathstar for example). You could do interviews with people who witnessed something while walking through their city. Stuff like that - I think you get the idea.

Ofc an org would only give such alts the clearance to access their more or less public spaces - maybe later, once the reputation and trust is built, certain members get access to more restricted areas where special projects are highlighted, new techs are revealed, whatever - not a must though.

This is not about spying and infiltrating (as you don't get access to anything secret anyway), it's solely about recording the history of DU.

Let us hear your thoughts on this one

Truly impressive, bookmarked and on the checklist. I think Oz will flourish, the idea and progress so far are strong indicators of that.

I know very well how punctual your writing is (beats mine for sure), but this sentence at the beginning of your post bugs me. Minor typo at the end?
"A goal not driven by the reward of money or the promise a fame"

Thanks to you and the team for creating another quality DU community tool.

That is an interesting question. Like they said, it is a game so the explanation doesn't have to be perfect.

What I've always wondered is: if when you die it switches you (the person who died to a new universe), doesn't that mean that you are in a different universe now? So to you everything is the same except you're alive, but to everyone else in the old universe you're still dead. So following the lore, we'd all end up in different universes.
