In a Twitter reply on 6/19/18 JC stated that “we will ultimately introduce player to modify voxels at the level of the HDF, so you can enjoy optimal precision.” Where in the roadmap does this fall?

@Mod-Merwyn Thanks for that link. I heard some news recently that drew back to check this place out. I noticed the crowdfunding webpage changed a lot and didn't know how my silver founder package played into things. Good to know that the devs are giving us more for backing early! Also glad to see Dual Universe blew up in popularity and funding! Badass.

PvP will be like an Oklahoma Sooners land grab at the start. People claiming land, others not happy about it. Then after a bit we’ll realize that there’s plenty of room for all an then all we need to do is defend ourselves from the trolls. 

Have you seen the average org recruiting texts? Claiming land by force if needed, enforcing the will of the org leadership and 'those not with us are against us and will be subdued' There is very little intent to work together and build an actual society and civilisation for most of these.
 
You also obviously either do not or choose to not understand what I am trying to get across.. It's fine and yes, I see no point in trying to make it more clear than I have.

With all the new folk regularly rolling in I'm here to remind them if you miss Landmark, there's an org here for you.

However in this instance you are buying tickets for a play that is still being written with no rehearsals nor premiere date set yet. The information you seek is simply not there yet and you would not be in a position to directly question nor direct the creation of the play write just because you already bought your ticket (but will be invited to join rehearsals as a spectator because your did).

More and more people are joining.  if you’re a Landmarkian and love voxels. There’s a place for you here.

voxel farm does indeed already have flowing water, gravity effects on constructs etc. atmosphere is just thin invisible 'water' from a programming point of view. but the processing power to bring that into the game is probably cost prohibitive at this time. just speculation of course. I know nothing official.

I guess we will get liquid handling someday.
But keep in mind, that it is a bit server intensive. One reason games like Landmark had fake water ... and when you build into it, you had an submarine undergroudn base with water in it.
 
And who wants a lake to swim in Zero G ... that's a death trap right there.

For what it's worth I can already offset a vertex by 1/2 a voxel more than I could in landmark

We’re doing things with voxels! Have managed to confuse some people already.

Like I mentioned a few posts ago this is totally going to be The Expance. Computer targeted combat going 10-20kph. Small ships, I think, will be able to escape faster and are still fine as a personal transport but medium sized and highly maneuverable gunboat with well placed elements will be the most viable option In my opinion. 
 
I really like this. I do. Real space combat should be strategy and fore thought not who has the best HOTAS skills.
