  1. Promises bind only thoses who believe on them. Since the kickstarter the game has evolved. NQ has encounter many pb which are not compatible with promises and a viable game technically and financially. Stop crying about they irrealistic promises. I know it's hard but this is how works kickstarter. Some things works. Others don't works. If you are angry, make a call to JC and ask him why he did these promises without to know if it possible or not (technically and financially). Schematics are good to limit megafactories. If you don't like them don't make an industry. and go buy to others players what you need. Many industrialists don't have any problems with the new schematics mecanic.
  2. no no no you haven't understood. no claimed tile = no dig, no harvest, no extract possible claimed tile since less than 15 min = free open bar for all for dig / extract / terrforming / harvest claimed tile since more than 15min = only you can dig / extract / terraforming / harvest. RDMS is necessary to authorize people create an alt, (use summer dac) ask your friend to come on the tile you have chosen before you confirm it. When your friend is in spot, confirm your tile, And while 15 min watch your friend ruin your tile This is the same mechanic when you claimed a tile on other planet. You have 15min before the owner come officially the owner and no one can do something without RDMS after these 15 min
  3. Hi NQ, We need to discuss about someting is wrong. Yesterday i tried the new FTUE, because i wanted to do some test for the next launch on 27/09/22. So when you choose a tile on haven, do you really think it's normal that everyone can DIG, EXTRACT, and HARVEST the tile you just choose WHILE 15 min ?? Really ? I didn't make any holes on these screen. All of them have been made by a friend who discovered at the same time as me, he can ruin my tile while 15 min ON HAVEN. i'm okay with this on others planets but not on haven.

  6. To be sure people will not use concrete / wood / fiber in ship pvp or pve, make them with old mass, 0 hp and 0 resist

  8. I'm not sure you have pinging me but, your answer seems that yes. Exactly because we are very close to the release and the wipe then, why people are crying about they industries ? They will lost everythings in some weeks ! This is not a smart lame ! (for me) And i'm sorry, but i don't want an automatic industry with Lua or somethings else. I'm not here to only watch machines running and stay afk ahead.... Personaly, i love the management of machines, check which need what and where. Lua can help with overlay / hud / data / reporting but i don't want Lua do it instead me.
  9. Sorry for people who want play industrial gameplay and who want to stay sit down in their industries and just watch machines running all the time. This is not a gameplay. If you want this, go satisfactory and leave DU. You're place isnt here ! Personaly, i really like the update. Solo players can have their factory but not a mega factory. IF they want more industries than they can feed with schematic, they can buy schematic from market. For org industry, it will need a really logistic work between members. And they can complete their missing schematics buying them at the market. So, schematics become like a money and can be uses as such for trade/exchange to the others players. Imo, i think some price a too low. I think the beacon isn' enought expensive. Should be to 50m. Time is OK. Same reflection for Tier 4 and 5 elements. And some adjustment to be coherent. Ex: light schematic is more expensive than basic L atmo engine. I'm OK with the fact light is tier 2 and engine L basic Tier 1. But the materials use arent the same. Just to made an adjustment to not have the impression light is more usefull than an engine Now, i need to update my excel file to adjust price with schematic
  10. For me, the destruction of pve element after crash is a good things for the release. With a little delay for new player with no destruction pve while 1 or 2 month ? In order to let them to learn mecanics about landing, take-off, atmospheric reentry, etc. There are some sink money now and PvP can help a little for destruction of element. And with the time, power system and the others things listed in the letter of creative director can be add, and i'm agreed with you, some degradation due to over the time on construct in some condition

  12. Guys you have to stop to want an utopist game !! Industry can't be unlimited, core can't be unlimited. in the past, JC has sell too many dreams about DU. It was a fake news to have full unlimited gameplay. It's not sustainable financially ! You can talk about slots (more or less) the time (more or less) and the quantity of each copy (more or less), but the fact there will be no changes about the system. If you just don't like the changes, NVM ! You play or you stop the game but the rest is only stupid blabla You are always thinking about the game currently and always forgot what will happens with the wipe. All theses features we have since more than 1 year is only in this goal. Make sure to have an economy for the release, where each player can earn their life in the game: - Asteroids > mining > sell to the market (or bot if T1) - MU > mining > sell to the market (or bot if T1) - Mission > travel the space to have money - Sell your ship, lib voxel, lua,talent handling to the other players - You can explore the world to find wreck, asteroid, or abandonned constructs - You can piracy people on asteroid or mission (i can understand it's not easy to do) - With core alien there wille be some fight in the future with a larger population with the release - Craft item > sell items to the market, via dispenser, or other But obviously if you earn some money, you need to have some sink about money. This is why there is some fee (tile, copy). The goal about the tile fee is to make sure you can't have too many tile only reserved for you and your org even if you are not mining them with MU. If there was no tax, what would happens ? People will take all tile they can just to make sure other players can't have them. No fee is just a stupid request. This is the same things with schematic. Make sure people will only produce schematic they can use or sell and not overproduce schematic. It's a regulation/control and it really important to have some regulation in the game. I hope one day you will understand what is wrong with all yours reflections

  14. Imo, i would like to have parts schematic except intermediary parts. Indeed, currently, we can't produce more than 1 item with exceptional / functional / structural / complex parts If the mecanic of schematic stay in this state, we gonna need only schematics for refiners, smelters and then for warp cells. I don't think it a good things. Make schematic for exceptional / functional / structural / complex parts is more logic and could make some specialize industries like the start of the beta.

Not try to change the game to exist in the game, because the most of people who crying on discord or forums don't want the game is succed they juste want a game for them and only them like a sologame. This mecanics is really smart. in first It fix the problem of bigs factories held by a solo player". In the second time, it fix how many items can be produce at the same time by a player And with this, it will encourage people to trade / exchange / barter schematics vs item / ore / quanta / others schematics / service (talent / lua) We just need to know the time and the cost for each type of schematic but i'm sure we will know soon with a pts ?
  17. Currently there are not enought destruction of elements in the game and you want even less that now. Rework repair unit to use scrap and to repair items is enough
  18. I'm pro wipe since a long time for many reasons already explained in this post (bug exploit about gold, mission warp, dupplication market, schematic, etc.) These bugs have ruined the economy. If we stay in this state, the game can only die after few weeks after the launch. And i think it's more depressing than try to make DU a good game with more time for dev some features that we need currently. And for this, the wipe is needed But i would like come back on one point with full wipe (option 4). If NQ delete schematics, we can't come back again pre 0.23. We need a mecanic that limit industries and make sure not all people can craft all. The economy need a limitation about the craft Another point i would like to come. HOW THE HELL COULD YOU GIVE 1000 L/H of T5 in each resource spot unique ????? With this you just kill the mecanic of asteroids... i can understan about 100 L/h but not 1000 L/h ! If people want T5 they can go to farm asteroid T5 or found some tile on external planets but not just put 8 MU on each alien core

  20. Thanks for the post ! The first part should have been there with the first iteration of core limitation. it would been make less noise. But anyway, even if i think it is a little bit to much 100 personal core, and 100 core organization, i can understand builders who make big things. You talk about the roadmap and some tools to facilitate the disassembling a construct but we don't have yet the new roadmap And, this will be my only one question: Can we consider the limitation of 100 personals + 100 org core are a final decision ? or the limite still could change in the short term ?
  21. 100 personnal core 100 slots organisation. This is too many ! Why all this mess for come back to 200 core for all people ? Definitely i think, 25 core personnal and 50 core for org, with a limit of 25 core per organization is enought. It will encourage people to support community project, iconic personal project, friends projects, or others.
  22. These changes are needed. How the hell could you think you can have hundred of hundred core without limit ? Could you imagine if 50 000 people do the same where each guy could deploy hundred of hundrer core ? There is already too many core useless on planets, in space, many ships are abandonned no where and no one can do some thing with it. Yes ofc 42 core for a solo player is low. But a solo player should not be authorize to have all alone ! This is a MMO not a solo game. People must interact each others, directly (trade for ressource, for ship, for element, by pvp, handling) or indirectly (market, sell / buy, Lua, Voxel libray, etc.)
  23. Well 1 MU with 230 L/h x 24h x 7d x 25q = 960 000 q / week And i didn't talking about bonus with each calibration. 10 min VR every 48/72/96h to pay the tile. Really hard....
  24. Hello NQ, Noveans, Is it possible to make a colour blind mode in the game in the near future? Currently, tiles (claimed by other players or organisations) are red. Similarly, tiles specific to each player are green or blue if it is an organisation to which one belongs. However, colour blind people do not see blue, green or red. Sometimes they do not see 2 colours (red/blue, green/red, blue/green). In this context, is it possible to have an option to activate a colour-blind mode in the game? It's a real pain to play when you can't differentiate your tile from other players' tiles without constantly opening the map to see if the tile is claimed or not. A grey/black/white mode for the map for example : White = own tile Black = another player's tile / org Grey = unclaimed tile Thx for reading
  25. wtf ! you don't want one billion per day like pts ? or maybe free industry already craft ? or dispenser with all elements for 0 q ? dev tool maybe ? to clean a mountain in less 10min People have 1 tile on sanctuary, free tax, free ore people can have 5 HQ with no tax with no lost of property. and people still crying it's not enought? What's is wrong with you guys ?
