Blueprints are an important gameplay feature so they must be available and get tested in alpha and beta. Would be great if we could keep our blueprints so we don't have to design everything from scratch again. I like the creative mode in Empyrion - Galactic Survival. You can create stuff in creative mode, blueprint it and use these blueprints in single or multiplayer survival games. Would be cool to have an offline creative mode in DU as well!

From experience: MMO-projects normally take 1,5x-2x the time as initially announced and expected! So just add 6-12 month to all announced dates at least to get an idea about when we'll realistically see it...

Wow, 60k Euros already. And its still the first day of the Kickstarter. Novaquark, about time to start thinking about stretch goals I guess...

So does this game need a successful Kickstarter to proceed or is there other corporate funding / investment to develop this game? Does it depend on a successful kickstarter?
