  1. I agree with this point and I feel it’s likely to happen
  2. Many players signed up to the 3 month subscription on beta release 27 August, that ends 27th Dec After that date NQ will see the true numbers of those that have left I suspect a change in attitude after that date
  3. In Eve you can buy ship insurance, you can’t in this game
  4. Spot on, any MMO that feels players are expendable will fail, especially if it’s based on a subscription or micro transaction model which NQ have said micro transactions could be introduced at a later date on cosmetic items
  5. No need for anyone to get personal, we now have a thread to discuss and give constructive feedback
  6. Have your devs play the game , from the start with no god mode They will learn more from that than any hand picked forum
  7. Your probably right , future content will come but obviously it’s not ready yet NQ will need to address the backlash of 0.23 and a creative mode does give players an option to build and design Not sure if this will be enough for people while they wait for actual game content and also if you can move any blueprint from the creative mode to the actual game then that does move away from a single shard game
  8. I also got a few members of an old Eve corp together for the first time in years , and we also named the corp here the same as Eve I’d been waxing lyrical about the potential in this game, the building of the base, you can build your own ship, the PvP, territory warfare, etc.., The potential for large scale battles mixed with being able to trade etc.,.. The game didn’t live up to the hype on online adverts, the bugs and lag persisted and then came 0.23 Im the only one left active , there’s a big base built and a couple of cool ships that I bought from ship builders I haven’t logged in for over week, haven’t reset my skills and I’ve been waiting for a response from NQ , which also hasn’t happened The forums are full of posts of players who genuinely want this game to work, however my perception is NQ are not listening, maybe they don’t know what to do and are unable to roll back 0.23,or release more content I have unsubbed, however I will watch development from the sidelines and possibly resub when the bugs are mainly fixed and the game resembles something like it said it would be on the tin
  9. They should suspend some parts of elemental destruction until they have many of the in game bugs fixed losing your ship or not being unable to repair due to a bug or system error is a problem that new players and solo players will pay a heavy price for
  10. This is exactly why elemental damage as it is , is bad for the game not many are going to put up with that, it’s a direct route to the unsub button
  11. Has anyone a schematic to fix it if it breaks when it lands ?
  12. With element damage now in, having that many ships in one place and the lag that will cause could prove expensive for people to repair any damaged ships last expo was cool and popular, might be an idea to delay this one until the market stabilises and there’s enough cores to go round at a reasonable price
  13. To bring in no repair core units , when the game is buggy and causes ship crashes is a bad move that punishes the playerbase for game bugs I have also unsubscribed, after the 27th Dec the true number of how many have left will be known the patch has broken the game and the playerbase belief that NQ know what they are doing with the game 1.schematics are over inflated and have made for many production out of reach 2.the market is paralysed 3.There is now very limited content, ship building , factories and PvP have all been effected by this patch Many ships are grounded through fear of crashing and not being able to afford repair , the only content left is too mine and grind to pay for the over priced schematics The game is dying on the vine , NQ must be aware of the playerbase reaction but their silence is deafening The game is not as advertised, hopefully in time it may change and be the game most of us want, however I see no reason to pay and wait for a game that clearly is not ready for beta to have its basic game mechanics put in place
  14. I agree with a lot of what you say As much as NQ have said no wipe and I do understand the pushback they would get A full wipe would enable a level playing field, I agree this should be sweetened with allowing people to keep skill points and the schematics should be at a lower price to enable smaller Corps to be able to produce personally I would also remove bots buying ore to encourage a player driven market I would also allow core units to repaired with scrap for a limited number of times as the game is presently if you are new to the game and have limited resources and you crash your ship, it’s likely you will not be able to afford to replace the core, so potentially you are stranded with a broken ship, which you will not even be able to fly to a market or a base to get the core to repair Thats going to make people hit the unsub button quickly yes this is beta and we will have to wait for further content, but this patch gives no incentive for new players to stick around and it’s handed the market to a few elite Corps who can afford to ride this out and get there factories back online Mining alone will not keep players happy until more content trickles out especially as some planets resemble Swiss cheese NQ have now released this patch , I do not feel they can roll this back They have hard choices to make and I feel a full wipe will happen at some point before release, in my opinion it’s better to bite that bullet now
  15. Many are unhappy with the changes, given where we are now and some of the playerbase reaction If you were NQ , what would you do to rectify this situation?
  16. Yes, that’s why I’m cancelling, reading the forums it’s likely many are doing the same and there’s a wall of silence from the devs and JC seems to think everything will be “super cool” I've put in 100s of hours to build a base, it’s now too expensive and too much of a grind to bring that base back online I don’t have the motivation to do it, it’s taken three months to build up a base and it will now take another three months to be able to use what I’ve built All seems a bit tedious and pointless
  17. I have logged into my account, I cannot see a link or anywhere to unsubscribe could someone post a link or explain how it’s done I hope my base remains in case I return when the game is an actual beta or has some of the content I thought it would have if it doesn’t then I guess I tried the game and now know it’s going to be at least a year until it’s playable and has some content
  18. I fear this game is now on life support and with many players like myself coming to the end of the day one beta subscription, I feel many will not resub In the discord Q&A it sounded like it could be a year before any meaningful content is added to the game and I doubt the playerbase will continue to pay and wait like many I am an ex Eve player who was interested in the concept of this game , I have joined up with old Eve Corp members for the first time in years to play this game, we have invested 100’s of hours to set up our base The last patch for me is a game breaker, my friends will not be resubbing and my only question is will my base be there if I return in a few months time its such a shame to see a game die so early, Truth is they should of delayed beta or had the basic game mechanics ready Putting in the changes of the last patch three months into beta is a bitter pill to swallow when we were used to the game pre patch which even then had limited content , The game now has no content apart from mining and will be very difficult for new players to succeed my advice to NQ is play your own game so you know the issues and listen to your playerbase who are so important at the early stage of any game I am gutted to see the game fall apart, let’s hope it survives and changes over the next year, only time will tell
