The only time I've mentioned you besides this thread was to say you "don't have any license to disparage people for complaining about something," which I still stand by. I hope you didn't find that block-worthy, because my god, that's blowing it way out of proportion. Either way, thanks for giving me more content.
Genuinely, this sort of thought process makes you one of the most unlikable people I've ever had the displeasure of sharing a community with and is absolutely a minority opinion.
You clearly aren't tolerating it, because if you truly tolerated PVP, you wouldn't make comment after comment after comment slamming PVP and those who enjoy it. You're sort of missing the "without interference" aspect of tolerance.

Frankly, at the end of the day, you'll just feed the system you so vehemently hate on; and we'll all be sure to hear you complain about it when it happens.

Downloading the game as I type!  Like the title says, I'm coming from Eve Online where I have been playing since 2007.  I really enjoy the PvP aspect of Eve and being a Pirate/Hunter - Can someone point me in the right direction ?  If there is a corp or other players out there that like PvP etc....  - hopefully with discord :)

I could pull up the laws on it, but don't have the time to go digging for it right now. But yes, essentially you can build anything you want worry free. If you intend to sell said "thing" for real profit, then you may have a few lawyers waving their finger at you. Since NQ are simply providing the tools, even if a player tried to sell their own "thing" for a real profit, it still wouldn't affect the NQ team too much. At most, they'd get an upset letter and that's about it. Legally though, they may be required to ban the player, but I don't know beyond that.
 
TL;DR - Don't worry about it.

This weekend on August 12th (Sunday) BOO will be doing a Day of Games in celebration of our 2nd anniversary as the best community in Dual Universe. (No bias, I swurr). We'll be playing Planetside 2, Rocket League, and Teeworld as well as maaaybe crashing some discords to say hello.

Played Eve since 2008, and stopped around April this year. Eve is has some of the best gameplay features you can find in an MMORPG, but it also does have the worst. At the time it came out it was revolutionary, and to be fair it still is to this day. No game has done what they have and done better. This really comes down to the single shard server architecture. That is just one of the many things they will be adopting, but that's fine - we don't need to reinvent the wheel here. Just take what worked, and add to it.
 
My confidence with NQ only taking the best from Eve, and applying their own vision to it is unshakable. They have put aside many of my fears as I have been following for over a year now, and am truly excited to see what they come up with. 

We have no idea of what he Meta game for DU will be yet, it will be at least a year until we have somewhat of an idea. If you think you are describing the EVE metagame above you really do not understand EVE. For one economy, community, business and combat will be vastly different. Outside of Lore there is no component of civilian life in EVE nor is there any form of design, implementation of features and industry to speak of. EVE is basically 'Magic The Gathering in Space', your ship is basically your card deck.
 
From the very sparse info we have DU will much more like real life in most aspects and not just about spaceships, how you fit them and fly them. In fact combat and use of vessels will be vastly different, really without any compare.

Tortuga City is a community city building project in the world of DUAL UNIVERSE. The city is a place for trade, manufacturing and shady business. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum, villainy and dashing rogues. Separated from the shackles of organization affiliations and political agendas, the cyberpunk world of Tortuga with its skyscrapers and neon signs will be home to adventurers and agents, artists and militarists, traders and thiefs.
 
Tales from Tortuga is a series of fictionalized stories set in this world, created for the entertainment of the colonists of Alioth and abroad. Our adventure doesn't take place in the actual Tortuga of the game, it only takes inspirations from it. The stories you will read are not part of the official lore of DUAL UNIVERSE, it's a story within a story.
 
Tales from Tortuga will be released in episodes every two weeks on SpaceshipDrama.com and here in the forum. The episodes are written by different authors from the community and comprise of stand-alone stories that will tell a 12 issue long overarching plot. The cover art of the issues is also created by different artists.
