that the whole "we have not decided yet" wipe discussion was just theatrics and that NQ has zero respect for players..
I wonder if anyone is left who doubts that

Thats what is needed. More demands to do practically anything. How about a cooldown between every action of every machine? And a skill how many machines can run simultanously? Like maximal..3? lmao
and events like randomly exploding machines and ships...oh damn. I forgot these are already implemented.

Its so funny. For weeks it was just a bug. Stated by deckard in the first stream after launch and somewhere in discord chat too. But suddenly its intentional.
NQs primary solution process is "Its not a bug, its a feature". Good work.- OrionSteed and Leniver

- Schematics
Diese Dinge wünsche ich mir noch:
- größere Versionen von diversen Elementen (Wings, Atmo Engines, Adjustor, Brakes etc)
- Energiemanagement (um diese unseligen Schematics endlich loszuwerden)
- PVE Content, ähnlich der Balance in EvE.

My problem with a lot of the comments in the forum (and other places) is misinformation, limited perspective, and/or limited experience. A poster that talks about 10q/L (or less) T1 ore... Do I need to say more? Talk about NPC buy orders at a time when their influence is no longer relevant? Do I need to go on?
you dont decide if they are not longer relevant. You just made an assume for the future. Atm on Alioth the price is lower than 25. And its easy for misinformation to spread when NQ says NOTHING.

In theory, better scrap should repair faster, and better scrap could be bought with quanta, no?
yeah, but even with gold scrap you need over an hour to repair a big ship

I think we are going to have 2 paths to choose from. First option is you work your way towards an asteroid tracker. This is probably the cheapest route. The second route is working your way towards a triple scanner and autominers and TCU's.
you forgot the pay to build method with DACs

And, if too many other players also leave.
I put >3000 hrs into this game on the promise of persistence. I really figured NQ would have a better plan than just wiping everything.
What about you?
I wont play this game again.
3000k hours of your life scammed away with a false promise and you still think about playing this game. Its your choice, but loyalty like this make such behavior from companies possible.
But i can understand it- Bollox and Metallical

Yeah, sadly NQ don't have a great track-record keeping promises.
(31:58) "Whatever you do after beta starts is going to stay in one way or another... You will get what we call for the moment 'magic blueprints'... blueprints with everything included in it so you will be able to respawn the things as soon as we restart the server. So we don't like to call it 'wipe'... The key thing is the beta is really the start... You can start to invest yourself in the game. We guarantee that you're not going to be losing everything at some point... the universe is blank again, and you have to start from scratch."

"With future wipes, as much of your assets as possible will be kept between before and after the wipe, in particular constructs will always be preserved, if necessary with special one-time-use blueprints ("Packaged Blueprints") that do not require ingredients..." ⬇
THIS! So much.

it still means that technology belongs to "Aphelia" just like everything else: the lands, the markets, the wargrounds...
Oh my Gosh. This game is a "KI enslaves us all" Simulation!
Hello Lambda, are you the boss of NQ? Hello?

Surely they won't make us go through all the hassle of logging in and re-training the skills on multiple characters, donating slots to our org, etc just in case and then 'decide' to wipe it all 3 weeks later?
Yeah surely. Haha^^

yeah. No fun in game but fun in the forum. And you dont even need a subscription for it !
-
You're right, that's absolut.
I'll just trust you on the source, I think I remember reading that once. Then I also have to retract my statement that it would be unfair not to wipe the core BPS. Because then it was clear from the start that there was a residual risk of loss for everything except for the core BPs.
Thanks for clarification
-
Where is the source of the core blueprint commitment? What is different to the statements at the beginning of beta "we want to avoid wipes, its the last blablabla option"?
-
Wont play again, so it doesnt affect me. Keep your Blueprints.
But wipe everything else is not fair, this should be crystal clear.
To prefer one playstyle over another is not good.
If fairness is really a goal, they should wipe everything or nothing.

Yes, there will be a few who will stop playing entirely. But those are the ones who are not invested in the game anyway, they do not care for the future of the game they only care for the pixels they currently own in game.
At this point i dont think those people matter anymore. I loved this game but a wipe is a nogo for me. But the communication is far worse. They dont lose more people with a wipe because the people which dont want a wipe are already gone.
At least for me, the game is not interesting anymore because i have no single piece of trust left for NQ.
I am still here just because i want to know how this "trololo we are still discussing"-show ends

I like the changes. But to be honest, increasing the grace period and the calibration unit recharge in a similar way would have been enough.
Good Job, NQ
Do you think it's Sadistic Tendancies?

They could just implement a reset time for all units every day. Then they have a day cooldown and the time is everyday the same. Other games do this too..
