  1. Hello Lads, i´m a big builder myself, with 2 citys (30 and 90 L core) and streaming. If it should come to a reboot (wipe), I would be for a complete wipe with concessions! - 1. implement XL Static and Space cores (all ends have the same length!!!) - 2. implement XL Atmo engines and Wings, revamping the area around the stabilizers - 3. every existing player gets 10% of his talent points he had so far. - 4. Blueprints are kept Negotiable but indispensable in the future: - 5. skin designs with color changes of the elements, like the avatar only related to almost all elements.
  2. I was thinking about leaving, but not anymore with this direction. 100 private cores are enough to wait 2-3 years for the XL static/space cores. Then we can talk again. Thanks NQ for taking a step back here.
  3. Well, that's what they want to throw in the face of all builders. The only thing that makes DU competitive compared to other games. I am building a 30 core city on stream (twitch) to show more people DU. I would like to build it as an event location/maze/challenge with LUA. With a story and puzzles etc to discover. I would be very happy to help the game with this. But well, you make me who does not want to end the game think about it again. I've had fun with the game so far, so I might as well make a clean break. Everything else has certainly already been lamented: - Traders who have stations on every planet (solo) - Org that consist of only 1-2 people and the rest have left everything to them. - The MU's which eats an incredibly amount of cores. - Exhibitions and everything that makes building and presenting your own achievement so nice. - etc PS: I am looking forward to the Voxel tool, but this is rather the last meal bevor death for me.
  4. Well i had too many ideas and things that i "Hope" to see in the game. I, myself are more of a constructer. The variation of the different constructs are there but there are only a few that are really eyecatching. Therefore i have 3 Suggestions to bring more variation in building things: - Elements needs to be colored, maybe a 2 colorsystem, primary and secundary color. (Nothing is more boring as grey elements all over) - Lights "needs" to be rethinking, sure the Pole, rods and area light are cool, but very basic for a good looking construct. More like an Asylum light. - what make things up, is to add different color. maybe based on a voxel with that color you want to have. I like the dark red, or a sinister green, or blue as a color on my constructs. - The light should be placed in a line and in curve to get the construct more to life. For example I want all the things to look like "Tron" style - Glass, i think a voxel out of glass, like reinforced glass would be cool. These thin glass panels are realy not secure. - I can think of a few constructs out of "glass", that would be amazing. Also I have a wish for the core units. If we could get a differenziation of the same size of cores up to the L core. Like not a block, where everything is the same lenght. But a 0,5 x 1 x 2. Like cut the half (horizontaly) and put it back behing that. I realy like to build my constructs with the full lenght of a core, but up and down only need a 1/2, so I only use half of the core. My favorite designs are all more long than high. Like a Star destroyer in Star wars. Not everybody want to build a Deathstar or the Borg´s cube. I thought NQ wants us to get a free idear of new concepts, but even in the Loading screen the dynamic constructs tend to be more long than high. --> you can choose if you want to build a regular Core unit, or a Elongation Core with the same Volume. I´m realy looking forward to the quest system. I would like a board where you have 3 "buttons" and can therefore "comunicate" with the Quest text (if programmed). so you can lead the player in a direction or give Information and choices, even if you not there physicly with yyour character.   5. Well I wouldn´t say that. Sure, in decoration the game is a bit lacking. But most needs voxel work or creative thinking. And we are only in the Alpha 3. Lacking as such as: - different colors of light. (players tend to use the antigrav pulsor asa replacement) - Fences that connect and llok better (here i agree with you) - Coloring the elements, because everything is grey, so no theme based ship can be made without these. But the core Unit size looks fine to me for the purpose. I suppose the core could be in different forms like the Hoverengine L or the Ailerons M. If for example the, up to, L core could be cut in half (horizontaly) and place the rest in die front/back --> like the lower quarter of a XL core, many people would love that.
