I am a long time gamer. My first online game was Earth and Beyond. I was a guild officer in an Eve Corporation at startup but I did not stay long mostly due to lack of time to properly do my job as a battle commander and a disagreement over direction (other officers wanted all out war all the time instead of using diplomacy with a big stick). Next I was a guild leader in the first Dark and Light when it promised to be Eve with land but the technology was unable to live up to the promises. I spend some time in the voxel world of Landmark and am presently hanging out in the voxel world of Boundless where I am presently enjoying the forests on the planet of Kada. Consequently, I build mostly underground since no build can rival those.

Anyway, I am hopeful Dual Universe is the game I have always wanted. I will also say upfront that guilds in a competitive game like this and Eve-Online must have proper organization with an emphasis on security procedures in order to prosper. The emergent game-play here will be very interesting to watch.
