Script only one part of DU. It good if we have multi coding but consider on the nowday technology and cost for server resource i think we "shouldn't" have multi coding yet for the sake of performance and stability. But who know 10+ year more server become cheaper and stronger so DU will got multi code
On that part I agree with you that servers should be prioritized over multi language coding but it would be a nice thing to have maybe after the release.

I still beleave that the current direction is totally wrong.
They are trying to create an MMO concept were we are given the freedom to shape a social society, well we know were that will take us, it can only mean that we end up doing what we do worst already, what we are all trying to escape from. The planet surface.... shows absolutly no imagination at all, and is entirely based on an earth with only fir trees!? If they have not shown any diversity at all in the showcase planet,
what insentive is there to explore at all? Knowbody wants to fly to another planet and just find the same cone trees with green on them, only slightly larger! Look at No Mans Sky. also procedual with the same HUGE problem, no diversity, after three planets, you still see the same plants yet again. I know that diversity is their goal, yet I see no evidence of anything in that order. I know it is early days, yet visuals for me are everything. I would simply walk all day on a planet, if it was reflecting the quality of having diversity.
I wonder too, what will they do about all the abandoned builds and giant statues of King Kong that people leave behind? That was a huge problem on Minecraft servers too?I would like to see a more innovative society, were the need for politics and greed is a forgotten human weekness.

PVP is what drives the economy. With out it there would not be losses. With out losses there would not be need to make something new. What would happen then? The economy would fail and then you have got a boring mmo with free stuff and absolute no difficulty and so no reward on acomplishing something again boring. So your type of mmo would not be possible. I know this is old but here are my 2 minutes. The end.

Would it be possible to have a radio in-game to transmit stuff over specific frequences in a certain range and have other people pick up the signal?
I think it would be a real immersion maker and it would bring a lot of possibilities like Space traffic control at a large spaceport with a lot of traffic would be able to make sure people dont crash in each other.

Yeah I wouldnt want to see the fireworks as fireworks rather as the plume from the engines. Now that would be better.
